PvT Mana/Naniwa/Sase/Huk PvP Naniwa/Sase PvZ Socke/Naniwa
ZvT Stepano ZvP Morrow ZvZ Dimaga/Nerchio Those are good picks, but I would change a couple: TvT Sjow because of his series with Bomber at MLG TvP Thorzain without a doubt TvZ Demuslim, not on the list but he is being a beast lately PvT Mana PvP Naniwa PvZ Naniwa ZvT Morrow ZvP Sheth, cant believe people forgot about him ZvZ Nerchio, he is the European Nestea of this matchup Not a huge fan of the list to be honest, I would swap out Sase, Stephano, Dimaga and Kas for Sheth, WhiteRa, Demuslim and Morrow. Although I'm not sure about taking out Stephano I could leave him in and leave Demuslim out. Sen isn't considered under zvz? The outrage. Guy beat Zenio 2-0 at the start of the NASL season, then again 2-1 in the finals. Also 3-1'd July for 3rd place. 68% win ratio overall in the matchup.
No I considered him of course but I was watching him in the EG masters cup, and he dominated at least one Zerg (cant remember who for the life of me). Also, at the time IncontroL dropped a knowledge bomb that Morrow admitted the reason he plays Terran against Zerg instead of sticking to playing Zerg is because in all the European tournaments he plays he feels he has zero chance of beating Nerchio in a ZvZ series.
So I considered a few people but that is my reasoning

Ok...IEM makes me want to vote for IdrA now... But how can I choose against SEn?
WHO DO I PICK!?!?!? :[

Idra played great, but ZvP is absolutely his kryptonite. He can't really be the best zerg foreigner with that ZvP.

Mana beat puma multiple times and also beat idra last 2 time they met. so i guess mana > idra without a doubt
|
If you didn't pick Idra before, now is the time to pick.
|
Who did Idra just beat that makes him worth picking over everyone else on that list?

3-0 over puma in long macro games. Really great series.

I don't like that you go to the "he beat this guy who beat this guy therefore.." But I do have to say that people are overreacting to idra beating puma... puma isnt unbeatable, he is just another player.

nope i'm not going there, just were countering the waves of mindless fanboys who flooded the thread after idra beat puma. cuz 1 series vs teammate instantly shows that idra is the best foreigner, right?
and an other player who has a more impressive score is actually a decent point

so... does idrA still dosnt Deserves to be in this list ? ;P

I think if you look at consistency or results, it has to be Huk. For example, Huk has placed in the top 10 in 6 MLGs (every single one that he has attended) including a 1st place finish. Also, Huk has been in 6 straight seasons of the GSL. He qualified for code S in his first opportunity, and has been there ever since.
Other accomplishments include playing in every Dreamhack event but one, including one win, winning Homestory Cup III, and numerous other placements in major tournaments (3rd at IEM, Battle.net events, to name a few).
All the players on that list have merit and accomplishments, and most of them have probably beaten Huk at least once in their careers, but none of them can match his consistent string of results.

You are completely correct. However, Europeans will be bias towards Thorzain since he is European and has put up some good results recently. No doubt HuK is the most consistent of all the foreigners.

Plain wrong. Idra forever !!

yeah idra for sure! he barely made it out of his group and then won vs puma who clearly didnt play to his potential(if you say he did im not a fan anymore) Maybe thats a little harsh, Idra did play good, but not fenomenal. Anyhow i aint ready to jump on that idra train just yet.

then we wouldnt need 2 extra polls to see whos missing or who takes up spot undeserving
plus its probably gonna remove bias votes of protosses only voting on protoss in this poll or zergs only voting on zergs 100% agree.
There isn't even any point in discussing who is the best foreigner (or ever sc2 player for that matter). Best tittle you can get right now is best Z/P/T. Game balance is to volatile.
Also while voting, i could never EVER vote for any Protoss player regardless of results. I just don't see the same skill involved in playing that race. It takes skill for sure, but not the same. Protoss is just badly designed for competitive play imo.

Beating two Korean players does not change the fact. If he keeps playing consistently like he did in the playoffs (for comparison see his performance in the groups) he will belong on the list. For now he still is not even the best foreign Zerg. Of his 3 matchups only his ZvT belongs to the top foreign play, his ZvP is far behind Ret, Sheth, Morrow and probably also Sen, Nerchio and his ZvZ is worse than Nerchios and probably also Dimaga and Sen.

HuK is a protoss player in GSL Code S.
that is all i need to keep in mind when i make my decision

Correct! I'll bet that he will bomb in the next tournament he enters.
I've noticed a behavioral pattern, a "grack-pattern" if you will; sucks for a long period of time -> gets mad at all the haters and trains like a beast -> wins a tournament -> get laids/parties/celebrates recent victory -> back to sucking -> repeat.
