Huk was born and raised in the US. He moved to Canada when he was 16. I don't see how you could possibly be born in a county and spend your entire childhood in said country and not be from there. Huk says he's Canadian because his dad is Canadian, but Huk should be considered American.

I believe he has dual citizenship but prefers to see himself as Canadian, and as such, Canadian he is considered.

Dimaga has always shown himself to be very solid but nothing spectacular enough to give him the best foreigner spot.

of course he does spectacular things, but more in an explosive manner. he comes out of nowhere and crushes everyone, only to disappear afterwards.
he came to korea, won against MVP in the team format, and afterwards won against nestea in the super tournament. recently he won assembly which was a stacked tournament.
but after said achievements, you hear nothing from him for a good period of time. there were always moments were you could call him an absolute top tier foreigner.
Almost 30 pages of argument regarding what country these gamers represent. It really doesn't matter in the end, get over it.
I'm gonna have to look up some games from this Stephano fellow. I've honestly never heard of him. I usually wait for people to achieve some fairly consistent results before I jump on the bandwagon, but bandwagons are usually formed around pretty interesting games, so if anyone has links or recommendations I would love them

Dimage derserves to be up there. But for the top spot he is too unconsistent. He is the type of player who can take a game off anyone. But then loses to a rather unknown player.

No some people are too simple to understand it... hes from korea, but he never trained for sc2 IN KOREA he trained in the US, thats the whole point. Don't understand how people still dont get this.
Then why is HuK, who trains exclusively in korea now and has for a long time, considered a foreigner?
Why is this so hard for people to understand? Huk is a foreigner who represents what the korean training method does for you. Do people like you like stirring up shit?
I'm pointing out the massive logical flaw in the argument that SelecT is a foreigner despite actually being korean because he trains outside of Korea. Either training in Korea is what makes you a Korean, in which case SelecT is not and HuK is, or it is not what makes you a Korean.

well, he had this half-half flag on his stream as well, since one of his parents is american (?) or so, or he even lived there. i dno, doesnt matter anyway.
I picked.stephano, I am aware he needs to prove himself on a big stage, however how he has been playing lately there is no stopping to him. In his current form id.like to see how he would hold.up vs the Koreans.
I honestly don't understand all this attention throzain gets as best foriegner. could someone please link me to VODs of tournaments he's played in and has shown that level of play? because I honestly havn't seen it from him yet.

TSL/DH Valencia/GSTL? He consistently goes toe-to-toe with some of the strongest or most in-form Koreans. DRG/MC etc.

Obviously I can't speak for the mods but this certainly looks like it brought some debate.
Did it? Almost all posts are: 'I voted for that guy' :p You can't say who the best player is anyway since it changes almost weekly in the foreign scene :p most guys perform really random.
