I'm gold on EU too, and I got 66. The original stats were computed on NA lader, distribution on EU could be different. It looks like EU is tougher than NA.

MVP isn't very good at producing workisn (compared to Major), but his control is much better. If you watch games intensely you will notice this. DRG is much much better at spneding minerals thant Idra and his average income is prob higher than Majors (as he is zerg). So he is prob close to 100 average.

But: How about production rounds? For example, if you are at 15rax/3fact/2star in TvZ Then your production round is 15 x2 marines (build time, no reactor), 3 tanks, 4 medivacs As your #of production buildings go up, the amount buffered for the next production round would be higher and higher. I know you try to approximate this with your SQ, but I feel like there should be a better way to measure the > production value spikes. I would inquire into Skillcraft.ca if you want access to more replays to do some higher end analysis. I don't think using "average unspent resources" is a very complete barometer. Better would be: "average unspent resources not being used as a buffer for production/pop space increasers/tech" It's not how much money you save up at any given second. It's how much extra or unaccounted for cash that shows bad macro. For example, a zerg may have the typical 6-8 larvae saved up for his spire. Is his macro bad? no. It's planned. Or, a Terran is waiting on confirmation of a third expo from the zerg to either delay his third and skip a round of marines or not. Is that bad play? Perhaps not. But it certainly would be insinuated to be bad play by your analysis methodologies. I'm not saying it's realistic tho*

Being a mathematician myself, I suppose I am a little biased here, but this type of analysis is exactly what eSports needs. In the 'real' world, professional football, soccer, rugby etc teams have professional statisticians working for them doing calculations that I would imagine are similar to this. I could see the day where Starcraft 2 teams have their own in-house statistician doing number crunching for them, comparing their players with other teams or tracking their skill over time. I know that quite a bit of work must have gone into the above calculations, and I take my hat off to you sir. With some community pressure, we may even be able to get Blizzard to add SQ to the data available post-game (saving some of the less mathematically inclined from doing so themselves). At the very least, some popular SC2 replay archive programs should consider adding this to the data they extract from the replay file. Indeed! Moneyball of eSports. Anyone need a statistician? Will supercrunch for food.
