So I've been tearing my hair out because I've been trying to catch up on my GSL VODs and the videos haven't been loading. Here's the reason:

We deeply apologize for our tech issue causing the users unable to watch any of the VODs. We’ve discovered that our VOD server has been shut down itself at Sept 5th 0600KST due to overload issue. We are at our best to fix the problem.
Operation time: Up to September 5, 2011 1300 KST.

Really unfortunate. I was hoping to catch up with IM vs FXO's GSTL vods within the next few hours before I head for classes but now I can't make use of this golden opportunity =/
I suspected that they were getting overloaded when videos started loading really slowly last night. Unfortunate to hear the servers actually shut down. I'm confident they'll get everything fixed soon...GomTV are awesome
I watched Nestea hold off TheBestfou's battlecruiser rush, and was just about to load up Nestea vs MC from open season 2, back when no one had any idea who either of them were.
It just keeps telling me I have to pay. The videos are loading fine for me. Is there some secret I'm not getting? I've got an account, and I usually purchase a season ticket, but I didn't for this one.

Meh, pretty lame that it didn't work for part of their free promotion and they didn't extend it. I think this was a pretty good opportunity for them to get some more customers, but they seem to have messed it up.

Except that they're simultaneously pissing off paying customers ;p.
Note that the deadline of the event coincided perfectly with their next LIVE broadcast -- even if they had the good will to make some extension of the free vod event, they can't afford to let it coincide with their regular broadcasting program, as it must work flawlessly. That includes the period after LIVE, as then still a high burst of people tune in to watch VODs from that day. And so on - once the regular broadcasting schedule kicks in, they can't make room for extending the free vod event anymore. It was designated to cover a special period of less activity; and there was a warning that there might be technical difficulties. All in all I think the event went quite well, and I thank GOM for it.
