This seems kind of shortsighted and greedy of them, politics maybe? that SC2Con or w/e it's called trying out it's power?

Shame was looking forward to see them play. /sadface

And as others have said, here comes KESPA 2.0 now if only they are as bad(as in incompetent) as bnet 2.0

SCcon is really sounding like a pain in the ass... first BS with Coach Lee, and now this with NASL.

Seems like NASLs offer was very fair. Sucks for the koreans.

This is kind of good news as it makes the NASL more of a NASL, I think CatZ would agree

He just said boxer declined too. Sad I was hoping NASL could have an awesome season 2 but I guess this could be the first nail for their coffin

Wow, really? That's awful news
I already watched little NASL, looks like I won't tune in at all this season, just not the level of play I'm looking to spend what little free time I have to watch sc2.

glhf to everyone still involved

Except we now get to see second rate players bar about 4 players

Real?

This all sounds pretty ridiculous. I'm really not liking this whole SC2con so far. Seems like many of their decisions are too rash and too poorly thought out.

In one way, the Koreans are gone and thus are some of the best games are gone too.
In another it really opens the door for local talent and foreigners.

Sad news none the less

Thats too bad, it was a lot of fun watching the Korean players compete. At least we can still watch some good Puma games and maybe even Liquid`hero?

I don't understand this argument because the NASL is also full of Europeans

Very disappointing. Although I more get the impression that korean teams just CAN'T pay rather than them trying to extract more money from NASL (obviously I could be wrong).

Sure sending one player is probably pretty easy, but the korean teams probably each believe there is a good chance that they each send several players to the grand finals at a loss, with no team having the financial footing (speculation) to handle a potentially big loss if they don't get within top 2/3 spots.

That said, still very disappointing.

No MC = no watching.
Anyway why can't these Korean guys pay for their own trip if they want to participate in a tourney tbh. You wanna make money, you gotta risk, you go to work, you pay for your own gas and housing. It's not like I'm a god, you gotta come, pick me up and babysit me -____-

Can MC and Nada participate? Or does the non-participation of oGs mandate that those two also cannot in spite of their SK sponsorship? It's always more fun when MC is around <3

People should stop pretending they can tell the in game subtleties between Korean players and high level foreigner players....you are watching the game not the name
