I have to agree Moletrap does talk over the other caster quite a bit, and right now I do prefer Wolf/Doa to Moletrap/Doa or Wolf. Hopefully since he is now a fixture in Code A casting he will improve during his stay. I'm not going to bash any of the casters because the truth is the community is always too harsh. Being in Tastosis' shadow is tough, and the Code A casters will never live up to them, but they are still doing a great job and are very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Grats to him on a personal level, if i found myself with his job I would be super happy and do whatever I had to do to keep it. Hopefully, he'll work on his delivery of commentary: choice of words and rude interruptions -- as pleasant as it would be to have his voice changed, i think that's just a bit too much to hope for; and his knowledge of the game. Ive heard him make some disappointingly poor calls, painfully obvious comments as if its cherished information few can behold, and he has asked wolf some pretty simple questions that would have an NA plat player do a double take (ie: after DRG vs JYP g1, "will [5] sentries do enough damage to hurt ff'd drones?"). Some people hear argue that I shouldnt care about the quality of the caster, if im a true fan of esports I will be watching the games. Thats a pretty crappy reason, i can watch good games anywhere, I watch GSL games to be entertained -- and moletrap seems to have a natural ability to make that difficult. If this was season 1 or 2, in a world when tastosis wasnt casting code a, i could understand signing moletrap to a longterm deal. But the game has been out for a year and the GSL has grown in MASSIVE popularity. A move link this seems to challenge all logic and really bums me out.

What is true, is that I will be highly selective about which code a matches I watch from now on. Do you really think GOM is paying even Tastosis a star salary? I'm pretty sure Code S and Code A casters wont be earning anything close to great figures. It's not like GOM can just pick and chooose the best casters in the world and fly them over to Korea and pay them whatever salary they request, many american/european casters probably earn more if they stay where they are. t's like people think that the GSL is like NFL where there's billions of dollars spent each year, it's not.

1) Those who like him at all will enjoy him all the more with him dominating the air. Those of us who dislike him are bothered even more by it. 2) I listen to the GSL games via the mobile website when I'm at work, but can't watch. Only being able to listen to the casters makes each issue really stand out even more. Every caster duo/trio will interrupt one another, it's part of the game and it's a good thing that they do. But he consistently talks over the other caster, dominates virtually every segment of battle. Many times, Wolf will start to say something, Moletrap will jump in and as Wolf tries to get his statement out, Moletrap just turns the volume up more and more until Wolf shuts up. I saw his games with the NASL with Diggity, it wasn't so bad. He actually let Diggity talk and do some analysis while he focused on the shoutcasting bit. At the GSL, he seems to want to do both. It doesn't work. I won't refuse to buy a GSL ticket, especially since I use it via their awesome mobile site to get through the nights, but man... it really sucks to have to be skipping games because of one caster.

I'm there to watch SC2- Moletrap does a decent job of casting it. All this SC2 focus on casters is really starting to get to me. Half of threads are comments about casters. Reminds me of my mom watching the News, and instead of commenting about any of the content, or lack thereof, she just talks about their clothes and ties and makeup. Hella annoying. I've tried... any of you haters tried casting? On a stream maybe with some friends? Gives you a totally different perspective. I recommend this for anyone who came here to hate on Moletrap. You'll say Uh or Like a lot, you'll call units the wrong names, and generally sound like a moron. I promise you.

I really notice a night-and-day difference between his casting of the past few code A games and his casting during his trial period. Hopefully he keeps up the effort and keeps getting better.

1) People saying that we should stop whining. Why should we stop whining about a product that we purchased with money that has a flaw that we don't like? We PAID money for it and we want to enjoy it as much as possible. Us consumers should NOT have to "deal with it" and move on with moletrap. 2) You have to realize, Moletrap just got hired for a full time job. It's his job to have a nice voice that commentates the game nicely so the viewers feel the game is enhanced by his presence. That is how he gets food on his plate and how he Lives. Us critquing him about his flaws are very important for someone's JOB. (imagine your job and consumers just generally don't like you. Is it wrong for them to not like you or should the working person change to improve?) 3) Apart from everyone's opinion about Moletrap being overly excited for nothing and hogs the mic is that, Moletrap really doesn't know what hes talking about half the time. It's fine to have mistakes in seeing whats going on, but Moletrap is wrong almost everytime (Very wrong in fact). + Show Spoiler + I think it was Game 2 or 3 JYP vs DRG code A where he kept saying DRG is in the lead when JYP was pushing up. And that it should be a "good battle", I was watching with a couple of friends who never watch SC2 and they believed him. However, when i heard Moletrap saying that, i just said, "Zerg is going to get rolled hard". And what happened? DRG gets rolled HARD in that engagement rendering Moletrap not even just wrong but WAYY misleading to viewers Don't you think being misleading is already a big enough problem to warrant the communitie's complaint? We're trying to grow E-Sports, we dont want the people who just started watching get misled by people with little knowledge of what's going on in the game. Apart from those HUGe problem, i find his casting voice and stuff to be okay. Though now, i dont listen to him anymore and wished wolf would just talk the whole time.

Just saying "Omg his voice is soooo annoying" is whining. It's not a flaw in the product, it's how the product comes. He can't help you that you find his voice is annoying, and there's nothing he can do about it even if he wanted to help you. However saying "He keeps interrupting, his loud, faked enthusiasm" or whatever you want to say is critiquing. Just thought I would say that, because with that your #1 is pretty moot.
