Just means that they didnt have time yet to sign it yet, they basically already got him just havent made it official. What it means is that they haven't finalized the deal or the terms of the deal, however Puma did decide to leave TSL. He's a free agent which EG is hoping to sign, but I'm sure if another org contacted him with a better offer he'd take it under serious consideration, and as he is under no contractual obligation to any team he'd be 100% within his rights to do so. He was never under contract with TSL and people are raging out cause Puma is just looking out for #1. EG is a world class esports organization which has been around for years and years. They treat their players well and compensate them well financially for their services and keep their players under legally binding contracts, the way any other business whether it be a corporation or a sports team operates.
The outrage that people are finding is one of the more ridiculous things I've ever read, the "cultural difference" excuse holds no water, TSL did not value Puma enough to contract him so he is free to do as he pleases. You can bet your ass Samsung, KT Rolster, or any other business within South Korea contracts its employees. This is how businesses operate globally spanning across all fields. If you think that Samsung asks LG if they want someone to come to their company instead of asking the person yo are out of touch with reality and common sense. Sports are a business, esports are a business, EG is a business. TSL has had the ability to contract Puma but did not do so, it's their loss, and Puma (the individual player)'s gain.

Seriously, if you want to call Rekrul out you'd better have something to back it up.

How about you think for yourself instead of being a blind follower?
There have been interviews in the past with how TSL came to be with the parties involved.

There needs to be a system to stop foreign teams from stealing Korean players like this" Ye how bout paying them as mutch as they´re worth? PuMa would have NEVER left TSL if he had gotten a similar salery. Its like a normal Market: The one who pays more wins. Koreans need to realize SC2 is not SCBW and SC2 is big outside Korea too. In sc1 Korea could do what ever they wanted cuz the foreign World could never compete. This has changed

I don't understand why EG wouldn't contact TSL thought. that is honestly just plain rude. I'm definitely standing on TSL's side. Ridiculous!

It is because PumA himself asked them not to do so. That he wanted to talk to his coach beforehand. He then reported that the talks went well. Then Lee came out on PlayXP, on his own accord. All what is left for EG is to clean up after the mess.

Puma asked them not to, EG respected his request.

Life is competitive, business is competitive, make an employee happy and they won't entertain offers from competitors. The only reason why contacting someone directly in any sport is illegal is due to wait for it...contracts. Un-contracted players, employees, etc are free to do what they want, it's their life. The way to stop "the stealing of Korean players" is to treat them for what they are, skilled employees, compensate them appropriately and contract them to your business and nothing can be "stolen"

People need to stop throwing around words they do not understand.

No there is no circle. PumA asked them not to do it. End of story.
1) Things were far from settled. Initial contact has been made at NASL finals. PumA specifically asked them to leave it to him to talk to his coach first. Most probably the reason behind that was PumA felt he had the obligation to due to his close relationship with Lee. That too is KR culture, that a student ought to counsel with his coach.
2) There were two things to do for EG: a. Respect PumA's suggestion, let him talk to Lee first and see how it went. PumA reported the talks went well. b. Disrespect PumA's request and contact Lee anyway. Then it would have been all "PumA, they say they talked to you about a transfer. Why didn't you come to me first?"
Lee and TSL will be hurt regardless. They are about to loose a player. At the end of the day, PumA wanted out of TSL, and no course would have changed that.

So the secrets he can't share is public information?
How odd...

Last time I checked Dan doesn't have any NDA's attached to him. He has no invested interest and he can say whatever the heck he wants because he's the one and only Rekrul.
These secrets you speak of have little to no substance. Dan is doing what he does best. You can spin it however you want though.

Sucks for EG that Lee makes a ton of drama over his own player leaving and then EG is to blame.
