Milkis may be called a translator but when he acts as a reporter he's a reporter. He's a journalist. FACT. If you're a basketball player, but you go play football, you're a fucking football player too.

Get that through your thick head.

If I'm a tool.
But I listen to friends and give them relationship advice
I don't have a professional oath of confidentiality to my friends and I can spread their emotional problems to everyone

Milkis translates.
AG thinks that makes him a journalist.
It does not.

The end.

Betrayed? How is it betrayal?

Person X has a job. Person Y offers a much superior job. Person X takes it.

What's odd about this? This is a job, there's money and benefits involved.

On the other hand

Person X was a nobody. Person X was approached by Person Y because Person X had some potential. Person Y extracted the potential out of Person X with his own money and time, and then once Person X has control of his potential, he goes to Person Z because they offered him more money to be on their team.

Understand how it could be seen as betrayal?

If there is no legally binding contract between Person X and Person Y why should Person X feel obligated to hold back his own career from developing further just because Person Y did him a favor in the past?

Meh, he also went on WoC and provided defense/slant for the reason Koreans were hurt/insulted. Milki's was not just an innocent bystander providing nothing but translation. He was pretty involved in this entire debate. It's news, it made the front page and pulled him into a position beyond 'just a translator'.

I hope he continues to translate PlayXP. But I do think he was far more involved in this debate as some culture expert then he should have been.

well that's your own assumption isn't it? myself and much of the community definitely doesn't think this way.

Milkis merely translated something from a credible source and gave it us. Thank you Milkis for all your hard work around the community.

It's a concept known as loyalty. TSL benefits from puma being a part of their team.

Stuff like this is going to push the Korean SC2 scene towards a new KESPA type system. This is definitely not good for the foreign scene, yet people continue to be so short-sighted and selfish.

Indeed. I really think some people ought to think more before they post sometimes. :/

I'm not calling out Prima. I'm actually thinking about the young Canuck who presumably thinks Milkes is gay because he is under the belief that gay people write biased articles. What has the world come to? ._.

Where is the logic?

People like making a living and having some kind of solidified deal with their employers, start working, start paying bills and then come back and preach about company loyalty.
