Yeah, because the rest of us that watched the show, heard all the facts, we're all wrong because some trivial TL user says 'no.' Really, man, your posting has been garbage in this thread, can you provide any facts to your negative opinions? It's been posted in this thread several times. I wouldn't want to read 300+ pages, but it's been said many times. If you are unsure, ask and I'm sure someone will inform you. Better yet you could always PM the source. Ugh. I don't think you're getting my point. Until something is said by EG, if Milkis posts a news story that's clearly inflammatory and with only one side giving their statement, it's poorly done. He's a reporter. He reported this story. He's a translator and a journalist. It's his responsibility to not post one side of the story in an inflammatory subject like this! Come on, how is this not common sense.
Again, he isn't a reporter by definition.
It's like I'm talking to a frigging wall here.
He's a translator. He isn't a journalist. Okay? Same page? He has no obligation to you or anyone else for that matter. He is a volunteer. He doesn't get paid. When he finds something from a credible source he will translate it.
Get that through your thick head.
With that said, there is nothing stopping EG from making an official statement. Nothing.

He's only a translator. TL translators have broken and translated many news stories in the past without being able to or checking with both sides (for instance, the BW matchfix scandal was mostly done through translation and rekrul's sources. Also the kespa free agency incidents were done through translation and not independent journalism), as well as many other incidents. They act solely as translators. They may be responsible for translating and updating the OP when new official news comes out, but they have never been responsible for doing independent journalism.

Auctally if milkis didn't post it. I'm sure someone else would and it would have not been done with the same respect to it.
Auctally very shortly milkis asked scoots for a statement. but he said later. it owuld have gotten out before. and a much angrier reaction would have occured.

It's not common sense because he didn't write/publish/report the original article. He's translating and posting a link to a reputable Korean news source. It's not his problem if EG isn't in contact with TSL, the public in general or PlayXP. It's not like he's reporting this on his own and not listing his sources. Would you be mad at me for pasting something from IGN into the GD forum if IGN had reported something erroneous or inflammatory? Try that for common sense.

If they can't pay him what he's worth someone apparently will, I don't understand why thats an issue.
"betraying his team" is a tough statement to make when he was making 0 salary,i dont understand how taking a salary over no salary is such an issue, if i offerd u 0$ a week or 500$ a week, why would you take the 0?

This wasn't a news thread. It became one, but originally it was just a translation of news that appeared on another site, meaning it was already made public by someone else. Milkis just made us aware of it. I don't get how this is somehow different from the numerous other translation threads both factual and speculative that have been posted on TL.net throughout the years...

Just because you can have a voice on the internet doesn't make it a right one. If and when you do get your first job(i'm making an assumption that you've never had a job before) then try and keep that mentality.

If my wife wanted to leave me for another man, does she have to speak to my parents about it first to see if it's ok?? And if they do deem it to be OK would they then be entitled to a portion of the divorce settlement?

Is this real life??
Reporters and journalists are PRIMARY sources of information. Milk did none of the interviewing/gathering of the original information. The reporter and journalist who covered this bit of news works for PlayXP. ANYBODY could have translated that and pasted it here in GD. Are we all reporters, then?

On the other hand
Person X was a nobody. Person X was approached by Person Y because Person X had some potential. Person Y extracted the potential out of Person X with his own money and time, and then once Person X has control of his potential, he goes to Person Z because they offered him more money to be on their team.
Understand how it could be seen as betrayal?

Look at the issue from this perspective for a second. When news breaks out, reporters will report anything they have at the moment just to get it out there, adding updates to the article as further information comes in. Milkis translated news articles and filled us in. Milkis along with many other people in the community THEN reached out to EG for their perspective and got stonewalled with Scoots refusing to comment or making a mockery of it. TL later reached out to Coach Lee for his perspective and after receiving it, gladly edited it in.
How in the fuck can you blame Milkis for that? EG was approached and refused to comment until the show, and then started bashing Milkis for not asking for their perspective? He did, just not before giving us the translated bits he had, which I'd like to point out is completely standard for any legit news article.

I also asked EG for comment via twitter. The only people who got replies from EG were the flamers, and they got condescending, equally immature replies. Funny how EG chose to reply to those people and not someone like me, who politely asked when they planned to elaborate on the Puma situation. Says a lot about EG as an organization.

Hmmm i'm kind of on the fence about the whole milkis thing. He did seem to do some investigating to try and get the story, something a journalist would do. Then again he is just a community like myself, or anyone else that posts on here.
