You aren't a writer. Just because you made 1k posts doesn't make you a writer. I have no idea about the contributions you made, but considering I've never heard of you before. I doubt it has substance. Just because I made 3k posts doesn't mean I'm a contributor to the scene. Knowledgeable, surely. Back to with what the other guy said. This is in fact a community website where very few are paid. There are a lot of volunteers who have made this website possible. With that said, Milkes did nothing wrong. It's been said many times over. The guy translates what he sees. There is nothing more to it.

milkis said something along the lines of "deep apology", inferring that AG should beg for forgiveness, of course he's not going to do that. he's gonna apologize normally that's that it because the only fault was that he allowed the player to talk to the coach first.

Or be bound to any type of league. I am not familiar with the BW scene but from what I have heard it's basically a concentration camp.
Honestly, what does a SC2 Korean team have to offer? Some food? Shelter? One extremely difficult tournament to train for? The western scene is thriving. The Korean players are taking notice while their teams are not, relying on loyalty, verbal contracts.
Seems to me the Korean teams are doing whats best for the team, and not really looking out for their players.
So if you were a korean pro gamer, and had the option of joinng a foreign team, what would you decide. Be a slave, or live like a rockstar??
There is only a few team houses. The Korean infrastructure is light years ahead of the rest of the world for Starcraft and professional gaming. Also it's not like EG or these teams can literally buy every top Korean. They said on Weapon of Choice that Korean teams would ask for a boat load of cash to take one of their top players.
Also most foreign teams don't have translators around 24/7 or players who actually speak Korean.
It's annoying that people act like the Korean progamers are slaves. People at first thought KESPA was terrible and the players were slaves for being in iron clad contracts. Now they're slaves because the system currently is based on loyalty and trust.
The Koreans are getting into the online tournaments. It's almost impossible to find an online tournament, a big one, that Koreans aren't entering.

I was hired (as always, a volunteer) by WaxAngel about two months ago on the merit of my statistical analysis. My contributions so far is the barcraft piece, the TL interview everyone piece, and the esports prospectus piece.
That being said, I am sorry that I keep swinging that "title" around. It's completely inappropriate of me of using that as a weapon. I believe in TL deeply and it hurts me when its name gets tarnished by a mob-like mentality.

Of course EG would want Puma, and I'm sure TSL would of released him...have the decency to talk to the whole team come on!
Still awesome for one of my favorite foreign teams.

I don't understand why western business culture should respect eastern business culture? Even if I don't buy this 'all is roses and daisies and there are no contracts bullshit' just look at kespa. Why shouldn't Korea (in this case) respect the way it's done in the foreign markets, or at the very least protect themselves from it. The latter of which is likely to happen after this probable signing.
If EG, TL, FXO, Dignitas, Fnatic etcetera all have the sponsors and funding to go in and acquire themselves MC, Nestea, Bomber, Losira, MMA, Boxer, Trickster, MKP, Polt, whoever. All of whom I doubt are not under contract with their teams. Then more power to them. Are there any actual pro sports where the best league doesn't have their ranks filled by the best players the world over?

I can't understand this, really.
Milkis is not ONLY a translator if he's pulling together information on a topic from different sources to post a thread on Team Liquid. He's a reporter then. He's bringing us information, and in this case, he's bringing it selectively because he posts Coach Lee's response but doesn't even approach EG for anything to put into the report on the matter.
How is he getting this blind rabid support? EG did nothing wrong. NOTHING. Puma was NOT A CONTRACT PLAYER. TSL has obviously been failing to provide for its players as evidenced by the exodus of players from its team. What has EG done in seeking a player for their team?
