Well it doesn't take away the fact that he wins by cheese lol, never seen him play a macro game so I imagine its not that great ^^.

Gonna say jjakji and Hack
So many EU/US names but these two are already at a level where they'd wipe the floor of just about all the top foreigner pros, and they're gonna make their debut in code A next. I think some people know how good they are, but they're definitely under the radar because they're korean and the only places you can see them are some pretty obscure tournaments. I think Jjakji is probably the biggest up and comer right now in the world and could probably hold his own in Code S.

Wish this was a thread about overrated
Anyways Thorzain is underrated. His play is extremely evolved and he won TSL, but doesn't really seem to be on many people's radar. If his macro + control were better he would be considered one of the top.

depends what you consider cheese. i don't consider 2 rax cheese, it's only cheese if it's proxy. and explain to me how it's possible to cheese in TvT? (other than unreliable 2-3 rax all-ins that are shut down by a bunker)

The two players I am super interested in following right now are iNkA and dde. I met iNkA at the Hotkeyit Arizona May Open here in Arizona and I met dde at MLG Columbus. I'm pretty sure iNkA's stalkers are twice as dangerous as another player's stalkers. His micro is regularly impressive and confusing. dde, If you've been following him has taken a lot of 1st and 2nd place finishes in a bunch of small events against more widely known players. It's Gosu's Gatored is another player who I see perform well in person, but hasn't yet delivered in a major event. No one else immediately comes to mind.
It's my belief though that there are not enough tournaments to permit every player to obtain a position which they deserve. If you have four people capable of winning a tournament join it then still only one may get 1st place. There's just not enough events to showcase all the players and give everyone their due credit I think. Perhaps after a couple more years the players mentioned in this thread will have gotten the attention they deserve.

oGsTOP i don't think gets as much love as he should. Maybe its because of the many powerhouse Korean terrans, but i think TOP belongs in conversations with people like MVP, Polt, etc. He's a beast of a player.

He has been a very strong player since the beginning. If he hadn't messed up vs Fruitdealer with that fail mass thor, he had a really good chance of being the first GSL champion.

I don't know if calling Ret underrated and acting like you predicted anything when he does well makes you a genius. Nobody has doubted his mechanics and ability to be one of if not the best foreigner Zerg, to the point where for many points over the past year he has been wildly overrated.
Everyone knows that Ret has unbelievable macro and mechanics, and he always plays so calmly under pressure. However he is never in the spot light and he seems to always be under the radar. He rarely comes into tournaments being the favorite to win or go deep. For example his NASL performance, finishing first in the whole regular season. I'm sure absolutely nobody predicted him to probably finish even in the top 8 of NASL, yet he finished first. There is just some odd reason that most people over look the macro monster Ret.

He is a BONJWA in SC2, no1 cares if he didn`t dominate BW as zergbong, I guarantee once BW is dead and Flash emerges from his man-cave to join the rest of the world in SC2, Nestea will SMASH him. I actually agree with this, this baller has won 3 GSL titles and did not lose a single game on the last one. Still, people are not caring, they do not put enough attention on this guy. Is he the world's best players? Obviously, but it doesn't seem like people want to accept this fact, yet...
Heh, as Nestea said: "Let's not talk about bonjwa right now, come back to this topic after I won 3 more GSL titles." So that'll be 3 months from now? xP

SlayerS_Ryung I think will do very well this season of code S

Col.Slush - He does pretty well considering he's not a high profile player.

LuckyFool. He has a very strong TvP and he is definitely going to shine one day

Sen?
Ret has always been a macro beast tho, to the point where his macro has been actually on par or superior to idras. I don't know how many times I watched Ret and though 'How the hell did he make that many roaches?'. What he's been lacking as far as I could tell, however, is a bit of the strategic and tactical aspect. Often it's been a bit much of the check-style zerg play - 'Imma make roaches, only roaches and nothing but roaches and go kill you!'.
From what little I saw of the blizzard eu invitational this seems to be something he's trying to, or already has, fix and become a more dynamic player. If he does that he'll be seriously scary for upcoming tournaments.
