I'm trading TheStC for Tassadar because I don't think he'll play but Byun/Alicia are staples on their respective teams.
It's a tough call. Do you really need to be taking risks at your position? I know, it's a very big risk to take. But I do feel I have to take risks in my position. Every week I'm getting the same points that the top 10 is getting, without gaining anything on them. Maybe DongRaeGu for MC would be better than Alicia for Tassadar? In that case I still have to trade Byun for Horror, since DRG is the only zerg on my team. The nightmare scenario then would be if MC loses after 1-2 games, and Horror gets owned by some FXO player too early. Then I'm stuck with Horror as the only zerg on my team. Well Waxangel made a good point that F. United won't be in prime condition for their match against MVP and DRG might not even be needed. If he doesn't play, and thus scores no points (or 1 point for MVP winning) then his value will drop significantly. At that point you may be able to get him back if you really want, but like you said it depends on how MC performs. If you feel like you can get the points you need with the middle of your roster, then hold on to him. Trading DRG away is high-risk/high-reward, but only if who you get explodes and DRG isn't needed for their remaining games. I think I'm too scared of MC losing to give up DRG for him.
If I was Prime's coach, I would send out MarineKing, Polt and Hongun in order to take out MC. Is he a better player than all of them? Maybe. Has he lost to all of them in a BoX series before? Yes. Will he be able to beat all of them in a row? I doubt it. MC hasn't been playing his best lately, with all the tournaments he's been travelling to. He's not as dominant as he once was.

This is just me theorizing the fantasy rules...
Due to the Game^2 factor in the tradevalue formula, tradevalue deflates the most dramatically through the transition from 3GamesLeft to 2GamesLeft (as well as 2GamesLeft to 1GameLeft).
This leaves room for trade strategies where you swap a midtier player on a 3GamesLeft team with an ace on 2GamesLeft team. Basically, you give up one set in exchange for much improved player quality. This is particularly useful for GSTL season 1, because if you compare the Jupitor and Venus schedules, such trade is almost guaranteed to be available and plentiful in week 5 and especially week 6:

I think I'm gonna keep both JJakji and Sage AND get Tassadar. basically I'm banking on NS Hoseo beating ST. My guess is Tassadar takes 2 games, losing to Squirtle, Jjakji beat Squirtle, and Sage to beat Bomber. This will be either brilliant or terrible and cost me my #1 spot in the long run by not getting Naniwa.

Dude, your TradeGain is insane. What is your secret? Do you plan to keep Lyn on your antiteam?

Gonna keep Lyn. He hasn't played well or improved in a while. He's also (along with moon) gonna be doing warcraft3 for WCG that's coming up so he might not practice sc2 as much for now. I think Naniwa and Thorzain may do well individually as in take at least a win each every round, but they aren't enough to get F.United the win. I expect them to lose 4-3 or 4-2 quite often, and maybe get one 4-3 win as a team. I'm not too worried about Lyn losing me points on the anti team.
My secret? The iCCupt korean weekly/monthly along with the few recent TL opens has show cased a lot of lesser known code B players (Hack, Sage, Jjakji, Puma, YoungHwa, etc all have done pretty well). Another part is is just looking at the schedule and think about what kind of trade values players will be at 1-2 weeks in the future and plan for players that might do well and hold up value long term. Another part is lucky
edit: Not to mention all the anti trade options for Lyn are absolutely awful.

Quick who should I trade Puma for before it is to late!
I chose MMA for now but is there a better choice? Slayers has been losing so it seems the chances they'll need their ace is high and he might come back with a bunch of wins.

Between MMA Alicia and Ryung for me (coincidentally all slayers lol). MMA would be good for the ace points, but they don't always use him as such. Ryung has been used as a mid-point/game 2/3 Terran, but there's so many Slayers Terrans it's hard to tell if he'll play. Alicia is a great Toss and one of the only ones for Slayers, probably going with him.

I'd swing for the fences and grab fenix. He has five sets in which he's nearly guaranteed to play, and in the NASL he has shown some real growth in the recent months.

u can trade Puma after this week as that was the case with FD and Tester after they left TSL and their owners were allowed to trade them out.

Yeah, but weren't they worth a lot less than before? Puma is worth 18 points now. Anyway, guess I'll wait since there's no way I'm trading Puma for Horror or Tassadar.

nah Puma's value isn't going to drop as TSL isn't playing this week.
Also help me choose between Alive and Ryung for Puma. Alive is obvious as he is one of the few remaining TSL players and Ryung might get alot of play for slayers week 6 as that week is the week right after MLG where Boxer, MMA, Ganzi and Alicia will be attending and might be too tired to play in GSTL afterwards.

FruitDealer and Tester's values have been reduced. FruitDealer from 4 to 3 and Tester from 6 to 4. Users with them on their main teams can now trade them off (with the price reduction as punishment).
You cannot trade FOR FruitDealer or Tester onto your anti, self explanatory why that exists. Didn't make any sense though, so I hope PuMa will keep his value.
