YES MY DREAMS HAVE LITERALLY COME TRUE
I LOVE YOU THORZAIN (and naniwa of course)

Now all that needs to happen is for Code A prize money to be like tripled so its actually worthwhile for them to stay there

It will be interesting to see how these two are able to compete. For some reason I have a feeling that Thorzain will be more successful.

My jaw dropped when I read this. This is such amazing news, I am SO STOKED

This is amazing for the foreign scene. We are seeing probably the two best foreign players currently in the game, going to the GSL. When Jinro, Huk, Haypro, and the rest of them went, they were not top competitors before they got there, so when they didn't have a lot of immediate success it was quite accepted and not necessarily a huge detrement to the western e-sports scene. When Jinro did have success in the beginning, it was a huge surge of pride for the western e-sports scene and he wasn't the "best" foreigner when he left. But with these two I think we will truely see how western e-sports players can measure up to the Korean scene. With both of these players playing very safe/standard but with great mechanics, and great understanding, this could be AMAZING. Especially for Thorzain who we have seen, is an absolute MONSTER when he is given time to prepare for any specific match-up.
This is hugely exciting.
Also, so many pro's claim "there is more and easier money to be made in western e-sports for western players" yet when we look at the site for the prize pool earning, the top 20 are all korean players from their results in Code S, so obviously it still rings true that IF! you can compete and be semi-successful Korea is still where you want to be.
If you believe you simply cannot compete, than Korea is not for you though, I completely agree. So this will be hugely exciting to see these two western Titans competing with the best in the world.

both round of 8 and above if they play to their potential!
|
|
gonna be sick. good luck to them both!

Wow! I'm very excited to see Thorzain own some Code A players in the GSL! MVP is Code A, right? MVP vs Thorzain will just be so epic! )
|
Dimaga dimaga? They need a zerg to compliment them xD
actually i dont even know if he was there at mlg haha
anyways, cool that they invited foreigners even tho they didn't technically get "top 3"
Wow didn't realize that wemadefox was moon's team (or used to be?) and that they are into other esports than just BW

IM_MvP is code S.

Could be moon for third seed if its not only foreigners
|
|
Super excited to see this, though I had hoped they would be let into a more established team. moon+lyn and the three foreigners doesn't really compare to being let into an already established practice environment as in the other pro houses.

I hope Nani makes a good showing of himself. Thorzain too But, tbh i'm kinda worried
|
Wonder who the 3rd will be...
|
Its kinda bitter sweet for me. Code A? Now neither player will compete in anything other than GSL? Again, bitter sweet.
|
So glad that Naniwa and Thorzain accepted. Although I consider myself a total n00b, from what I hear, these two have styles that should allow them to compete with the Koreans as easily as a foreigner could hope to do!
