On June 05 2011 20:22 Rekondo wrote: IdrA is still crying about imbalance and is constantly saying Zerg is the weakest race. well, maybe not the weakest, but obviously you cant just A click like a terran bio player and you can not minimicro your colossi and blink stalkers as well. as zerg there are 2 ways. a) scout your enemy every 20-30 sec, to see if you can get more drones/bases, and just outmass him. but even this is not always working, as shown in MC vs Idra, last game. mass stalker/dt b) you need to get a player offguard. like 8pooling, like a ling runBy in the base. like nydus in base. you can do equal things with hellion or dt or phoenix or reapers. but zerg can not go the usual way. so ye. from my understanding, zerg has huge disadvantages. you are always relying on: scouting, open field attacks, backdoor sneeking. and outmassing. players learn and adapt. so you see like 90% of all games terran and protoss going for an early expansion as well. not saying that zerg is the worst race, but imo other races are more straight forward to play. i really enjoyed the MLG games last night. | ||
