I guess you're right, he's not "much worse", but at the same time he's far from having nestea's skill. The problem is that now idra train with not very good players (relatively of course), so it's impossible to judge his real skill. I'd like to see him against every MLG koreans to be able to judge. At least in ZvP Idra is far behind the top Koreans.

Eh. Maybe 3 months ago. Watching Idra, it really seems like he's vastly improved himself over the last few months, while many of the korean zergs are kind of stagnating. While he probably isn't better, saying he's "Much worse" is definitely not true.

One of his hardest opponents up first and suddenly, oh its not Bomber anymore, oh and its a Protoss, have fun for the entire tournament Idra. He'll most likely have been practicing his zvt pretty heavily for his games vs select and bomber. Then, two days before he plays, "sorry you're going to play the hardest pvz possible". Well, at least he has a fairly good chance of beating everyone else in the group.

It depends on the pro, but I don't think they are, especially depending on the group. Most of the players when asked about their groups talked about how they planned on practicing specific matchups because their groups had three of a certain race, or how one player being the only one of his race in a group has a slight advantage because he has one less matchup to practice than the rest of his pool. Now is it anything to get all worked up about? Not even a little bit. As an overall player, no question, it isn't even close. Purely ZvT, I can see why you might say Idra isn't "much" worse than Nestea. Not that the logic of "Nestea beat Bomber, then so could Idra" is even applicable because they're completely different players.

He's not American. He was born in Korea, spent most of his life in Korea, I'm guessing owns a Korean and not American Passport. He's no more Korean than TLO is Swedish or Jinro is Korean, where you live does not define your nationality.

I'm very hesitant to judge IdrA over the last 3 months. Who has he played? I mean, he be rollin face on the ladder. I've watched his stream, hell, I have a mobile update for his twitter so I can know when he's streaming. But the NA ladder is notoriously blah (yes, I'm in silver on an awful ladder, shut up :V). Love the Proxy Gracktory, but I don't think we can actually judge his relative skill right now. About 36 hours from now, we can start doing that.

He wouldn't be allowed to represent NA in Blizzcon if he didn't have citizenship =/
