I'm not really whining, just saying I prefer djWHEAT over JP and am glad things happened to change that. I'm not sure what ITG has planned or who else will be on the show but I think its gunna kickass!

Is the 8th episode not uploaded yet or is it just me or my PC being stupid? I would like to watch it (as I always do) but it doesn't seem to be available as a VOD yet.

there were a lot of issues last night with the stream and recording, so they'll probably be a little slower in putting the episode up.

I've also done alot with MLG, IPL, TeamLiquid, etc. Yes I absolutely enjoy working with EG. They are a company who has provided me work over the past 4 years, and it's no secret that SirScoots and I are good friends. But I think the "conspiracy" that people are throwing around is pretty silly because if there was this much "GODLIKE CONTROL" coming out of EG or OneMoreGame, wouldn't it make sense that either org told me I couldn't do MLG, IPL, TL, Tactics 3D, etc?
I completely understand where you were coming from with your statement, and hopefully people will consider every perspective instead of creating false drama/accusations (which seems to be a rising trend in eSports / Pro-Gaming).
[/QUOTE]
I don't mention money once in there... I had "conspiracy" in quotes for a reason. Because it was in response to what others had said. You completely took that entire comment out of context. The most important aspect of that comment was ignored.
"hopefully people will consider every perspective..."
Not knowing all the details (or rather maybe some spotty details) I too believed there was more to be told. Last night we got an additional perspective that I was hoping to get. But I also don't make the decisions for the players on EG... so I'm not sure what you're trying to get at.

Hey wheat, any idea when last nights ITG will be uploaded? Only got to catch some live last night, looking forward to watching the rest
Saw comment below regarding VOD, nice

Well because I think that's JP's business and it's his decision to speak on it. Maybe he was waiting for MLG, maybe he was courting other offers... making a decision like that (especially when you have so much invested into a show) is not an easy one.

Except you forget that many of the teams involved in eSports have been around longer than most people give them credit for. They've been helping that bubble grow for years. Maybe it wasn't in StarCraft, but in Counter-Strike, Quake, Street Fighter, WoW... and the list goes on. People are so quick to forget that these same orgs they are bashing are the ones who suffered through the toughest of times when eSports was a dying activity... when there was no money.
Yet many of them still stand, involved in eSports.

I still don't understand why this is such a big deal...

OMFG are you serious? MrCon I directly responded to your GSL allegations on the last Weapon of Choice. JUST FOR YOU, yet you continue to spew this BS. I am disappoint.

SOTG was one of the most popular gaming podcasts on the web, now its gone. Regardless of who is to blame its not strange that people are upset about it.
If you really like something and then its randomly taking away from you and then the people behind that decision are being deceptive about it up until this point its not that strange that people are pissed.
And we've still only heard half of the story - the EG story, JP still hasn't given his thoughts on the whole thing.

Are there any VODs of these like there was for SotG? I enjoy watching them during work.
From the looks of it though it already looks like peeps are crying over some stuff WHEAT did/didn't do.. Who cares just enjoy it or turn it off.
Yo WHEAT, this looks really cool and I'm glad you're doing it however you need to stop doing so much serious stuff and get back to helping your son go pro.

It is, but somehow it is not. The ad gets played but after that I only see the One more game tv - logo and nothing happens
EDIT: Appearantly I am a complete moron and retarded as hell. It works, thanks for your help!

The problem with esports today is what djWHEAT just said..."hopefully people will consider every perspective..." and thats the problem EVERYONE wants the answer now.. then they feel if they break that answer and post some ridiculous comment that they are going to get attention from other pro players or just other people in general.. well shit dont work like that. If you do get any credit about your post that shit goes out the window the next day and no one cares.
Everyone is so PUMPED to get there 15mins of fame its amazing. Relax guys this is a serious problem with esports the trolls the people who just type the meanest things they can think of and think that is ok .. when in reality if that person was standing in front of them they wouldn't dare speak what they type. Its just amazing to me that a lot of people are trying to build esports and most of the people that are saying they are for esports and want to help , are the ones holding it back the most.
WHO CARES why incontrol left SOTG that is incontrol's and the people that work in SOTG business it is not ours.. do you see fortune 500 companies tell you why they let go someone every time? Do you see them try to be so transparent all the time? NO there is a reason for that.
SO to all the trolls out there and the people holding us back so damn much TAKE A HUGE BREATHE and bite your tongue ... because I know one thing your hurting a lot more then just some little flame you get off on.
EDIT: and in 5mins someone will quote me say something mean or trollish and my post is lost.. thats the way it goes.. lol

Oops, I missed your post it seems, I thought I checked carefully. Checked the thread a few days after posting but missed it somehow, sorry. Typing this I looked for your post and I still don't find it somehow, my post was there http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewpost.php?post_id=9733588 Even looked in the LO3 thread, found my other post on the subject, and can't find the answer. Is it in another thread ?
Anyway I watched the beginning of yesterday's show before watching Jinro (paused the show before the "drama" part) and I have to say that the segment with incontrol and you was very interesting (the training talk). Between this and the talk during last WOC (or was it LO3 ?) that's a lot of very nice stuff to know. I really hope that the shows will continue this "behind the scene" talk.
edit : in the last WOC and not the WOC thread >< How could I miss that. Now the posts below are lot less confusing :D

Blizz needs to consider renaming the game to DramaCraft after everything thats happened. Not sure why people can't just move forward with what content is still being provided rather than complaining that SOGT is no longer going to happen. I want to remind everyone it could be much worse ie NO content :/ Be happy with whats given to you for FREE.

Looking for downloadable version of yesterday's podcast, can't find on itunes or blip

please use paragraphs your perspective is lost in that block of text
also everybody needs to chill out.
Should the sponsorship thing have been made clear from the beginning? - Yes.
But is the sponsorship explanation so seemingly impossible to everyone that they need to keep complaining or claiming alternative stories? - No.
So stop with the high school bullshit. We are adults we should act like it. Life happens, shit happens, no need to make it drawn out. It seems like every week djWHEAT has to go out of his way to have a rant on some drama related thing.
X sleeps with Y - who cares A company makes a decision based on available information and then is stuck with their current situation - seems like something that happens every day
