Thus growing the community. People will play the game longer and will grow the game better. That's what so sad about this entire situation is the completely lack of understanding of Destiny's argument.
Idra DID understand Destiny on a lot of points, but didn't agree with the way he presented his points (understandable)
I still think Destiny and Idra handled it the best, painuser too obviously but he wasn't a part of the drama to begin with.

So our peak will be ~100K, but he forgets that the game at the highest level is boring and bad to watch. ZvP is shit, PvP is shit, ZvZ is shit, TvZ is shit. These match ups are boring to watch.
So this 100k will go down and down until we have no one watching.
Like all the sport events in the world get all those viewers because each event/tournament/match is entertaining as hell.... If your opinion was true no one would watch sports anymore, cause 9 out of 10 times matches/events and tournaments are boring but that one time something special happens keeps people watching it.
There is not a sport in this world that's always fun to watch and thats a good thing otherwise it would become even more boring and you wouldn't have any special highlights anymore and that's whats sport all about... doing something special.

That's true, the more boring sports suffer until their pro scene dies out...Do we want to how our pro scene die out?

I am dissapointed in you djWHEAT. First you sit there and pick on destiny like a bunch of 7year olds. Like the numbers thing incontrol was doing; Its a figure of speech that is pretty damn normal, he even did it himselv 10mins later.
You all said people agree on a lot of the shit destiny said. In my clan half of our players have left. And of the remaining, less than a third still plays/watches starcraft. I myself often feel the want to leave this game alone. The players that are dissapearing are not being replaced. There is no new blood coming into the scene so we are unable to reqruit. What people wanted was to give a clear message to Blizzard that either they fix the issues with BNET to bring in more cassuals or people will leave the game.
And that rant... Normally i like that shit, but going crazy like that on his ass after you 3 guys had been picking on him for half an hour is just sad and i really hope you do not teach that shit to your kid...
I really thought you were better than this, i will not be watching your show again.

That's true, the more boring sports suffer until their pro scene dies out...Do we want to how our pro scene die out? What major sport has died out?

That was a pathetic display from all but Painuser. I didn't expect much maturity from either Destiny or IdrA, and seeing Incontrol showcasing his frat boy side wasn't too surprising either. But djWheat ... damn. For a long time, he was a caster I always enjoyed, and his nametag next to an event would usually make me tune in. That's over now. He, of all people, should know better than to behave like that.

Let's see, let's compare shot put 2000yrs ago to what it is now and the viewership...the money and the prestige... yeahh.

Even the minor ones.....I mean curling is boring as fuck and has a small player base, but people still play it and have tournaments for it.
Just watched the show, painuser is a fucking boss is all I have to say.

Jousting.

The only person who stayed calm and professional was Painuser, and to a lesser extent, IdrA.

everyone on each side was confused and the arguing just made me confused and upset
except painuser, he was level headed

All the stupid figures of speech and impersonating by iNcontroL and Destiny were certainly detrimental and made it a headache of a show to watch. And djWheat exploding was something....lol...Idra was surprisingly calm during the whole show and massive kudos to Painuser.

This ep was pretty much a disgusting tripple circle jerk.
Oh, and also, Destiny is wrong. Even if all koreans would switch to LoL i still dont see idra/incontrol winning any tournament.

Ah yes, the go to final statement when you have no rebuttal. First class right there.

Most of the reason that I still watch sc2 is just to follow my favourite players, if the game play was exactly the same but the players all switched, I would probably stop watching.
