By the sheer post count I expected at least some hair tearing-out and maybe a death wish or two. It's like the whole community divided into armies of pissed-off fanboys just waiting for a single nod from their celebrity of choice so they could charge the enemy lines and tear them to pieces. I don't think any other gaming community could discuss such matters passionately in such a civil manner. Seriously - chill out. | ||

Personally, I think Destiny lacks a lot of information and is taking a very simplistic view on SC2 as a whole. Incontrol was right when he said that SC2 was never going to be number 1 forever. Also, I think people are underestimating that how frustrating it would be to argue or discuss this with Destiny. Every time they tried to make the argument that being negative was bringing down the community as a whole, he became upset and was shocked that people who loved BW would say that and why would they put up with Blizzard. As a fan of SC2 and Dota 2, I would not be upset if Destiny moved on to LoL. Besides some train wreck style entertainment, he really has not done anything for my enjoyment of SC2. Most he has distracted from the game itself. | ||

If they had not added him, he would have freaked out like a child that he was not allowed to come on the show. When he came on the show, he freaked out and yelled like a child because the people on the show did not 100% agree with his approach. He then pulled the "Ill get the last word in, suckers" move when Idra told him that he should just go over to the game with larger numbers. | ||

So our peak will be ~100K, but he forgets that the game at the highest level is boring and bad to watch. ZvP is shit, PvP is shit, ZvZ is shit, TvZ is shit. These match ups are boring to watch. So this 100k will go down and down until we have no one watching. | ||

Where's incontrol's apology? We all saw that part, it is called a counter argument. Destiny's argument had a large number of flaws to it and Incontrol was responding to those. He wasn't attacking Destiny, but he did attack his argument and the bull shit numbers that Destiny was using in his original End of Starcraft 2 post. Destiny should have expected this and that people would strongly disagree with him. Asking to go on a show and then getting pissed at the people on the show for not agreeing with you is just stupid. To be clear, I believe Destiny's argument is stupid. I believe his behavioral is childish and unprofessional. I am not required to call it anything but that, or show respect to him for having beliefs. I am not required to give him the ability to defend himself. I can call his opinion dumb and move on with my life. The only rule the Hosts broke was this: "Never argue with a drunk or a fool." | ||
