His thread did not get attention because of his person. His person made the thread less good. When i read the post first time i agreed with most of it and was shocked when i saw who wrote it. However, he said what most people think and what is not picked up by many pros. Perhaps you should have invited gretop not destiny to have this discussion. Its not all about getting esport big for us. I dont care how much pro gamers make a month. I dont care how many views their stream has. I want an awesome rts to play. You guys think sc2 community is the e-sport community but you are wrong. This is the gamer community and esport is only a small and not the import part of it. Esport dont define or feed the community. The gaming community feed esport! Sc2 has big problems and even the last one is sick of waiting for blizzard. And yes we have to wait because they are the only once who can fix the mayor problems. We all know they will not fix it, so we all know they will not make it good. So we are left with a decent game that could have been awesome. Thats the problem. Not that its dont have micro-transitions. This are methods to get money out of your playerbase not to build up a playerbase! The problem is not to get the "causal" in. If you make a good game you get many people. This "causal" argument is just a arrogant word to let other people think you are better than the majority and not only in playing the game. If they fail to make a good game than no one is interested in the addon and the future. Not the "causal" and not the hardcore gamers. Only because you played bw for 10 years and sc2 for 2 dont mean you have to stick with it. People waiting for the awesome rts. We all hoped that sc2 will turn out to be it. Sadly its time to realise we have a better chance waiting for an other company to develop an new rts than waiting for blizzard to relearn how to do it. | ||

Yeah, back in beta when there were not 10 tournaments running every week and a multitude of people streaming, not to mention that most people couldn't play themselves at that point. There are no less sc2 fans, there is just way more possibility these days to pick the tournaments that fit your schedule and there are more streamers. | ||
