I would absolutely love these changes to be implemented, with the additions of coloured forcefields; I think that would add a lot for the spectators and a bit for players in mirror matchups.

The banelings look like skittles! I just wanna eat em!

Though For the most part, these textures look better, and it is impossible to get units mixed up.

Wow, this color selection is sexy
Nice solid colors unlike the watery blizzard ones (for the most part) and nice contrast
I really like this idea, will help out for spectators, but perhaps the players should be able to have some say in this as well? Like some players may enjoy seeing neutral colors only

Brilliant.
Of course they don't need to be as bright as they were in full force, but it's a great idea. Some things (like a lot of protoss and zerg units, specifically) are very hard to tell, as they have minimal colors or blending colors (Protoss buildings being gold naturally make me think Yellow team automatically).
I doubt it's just me. I can see many people, especially new players, finding this very helpful.

At the very least, make it a spectator option.

the all white zerglings look awsome... and the maurauder colors are pretty baller to.

I would vote yes. I wish there was actually some custimization to units, like Blizzard promised/hinted that there would be. But all we really get were those 1/4 icons on hatch's/CC's/Nexus' that noone sees, and they are actually decently hard to unlock new ones. (well not hard but very time consuming)

Being able to customize what parts of your units would change colors would be SICK. also you could do stuff like mix colors together on your units. Even if it only appeared on your screen, and on your opponents they were normal, would still be cool.

oo and the banelings look like christmas lights and the observers look like magical creatures. i like it

What is your point?

In real sports the Jersey is all you need to distinguish between the two teams. They generally take up most of the body of the player and are a contrasting color to the ground they are playing on.

SC2 has a mashup issue in that sometimes the color is extremely hard to distinguish between two units...banelings are a prime culprit.
Python is garbage, number 1 advocate of getting rid of it.

I really really like this idea, and the stuff in the video looks great!

Some tweaking with certain units might be needed, but overall it seems like a very solid job done already~

This is fantastic. Since the start of beta people have been complaining that the colors are extremely difficult to tell apart.

Everyone knows when you're watching a pro match it's obviously better to be able to differentiate which army/which units are whose.

This seems infinitely better than what we're dealing with right now, I really hope Blizzard takes notice of this.

I personally think it looks great, and should be implemented as some sort of spectator thing. I've personally never had any problems knowing which units are mine when im playing myself.

I love it. One difference between BW and SC2 is the vision of units, especially max battle. You cant see very clearly units in battle in SC2 unlike in BW.

Again I love it!

Whether this should be used during game play or only for viewing is, for me, up in the air, but I think it looks pretty darn awesome at first glance.
