I think QXC mentioned it once on the daily or something that he got ghosts early in his drop harass openings because it does a guaranteed 240 damage with the one spell - and this only compounds in the late game. | ||

I hope they notice that the Thor anti-air attack becomes ever more useless with that kind of nerf, but then they probably hate the Thor altogether because they give it back the energy without any method of using it apart from a 150 energy ability. The stupid thing is they even have energy without having the upgrade to use the strike cannon (just like BCs). You're right, you can't "kill" with Ghosts, but they require far less investment (2-3 Ghosts vs 7-8 HTs) and one good feedback does not equal one good EMP. Never does it cross my mind that since there's Forcefields in the battle, Protoss auto-wins. It always comes out almost dead even, even with the brokeness of Forcefields. Not complaining about the change, just explaining the Ghost/HT dynamic. Only thing I'll complain about is the uncompensated Warpgate nerf that was meant to fix PvP but will probably do more damage to the other matchups. | ||

I think it's kind of stupid but whatever. | ||

This is pretty terrible on Blizzards part. This ofc assumes that both the GSL and TSL have talked to Blizzard about this and they have still decided to release the patch before them. It really hurts the legitimacy of those 2 finals, imo, since neither are mirrors and both will be greatly affected by the changes. | ||
