Nice, I really love the changes they made in the update. Maybe blizzard realizes the weaknesses of a 4gate now.

I think it's good that Blizzard does this changes and actually tries many different things, that's why we see a lot of these changes. I'm looking forward to when it's going live.

Yes I watch pretty much every gsl match. Losira and July dropped out. I don't think it matters if infestors are op in bronze league. I don't understand from where you get this "infestors op"

if stalker were as fast as Zealots or Immortals it could be considered a buff for the Army.
sure the individual unit is nerfed, but the army control gets alot easier.

A Army moves as fast as the slowest Unit so unless you are using pure infestors it isn't really a nerf.

How does it matter that losira lost against terran? Infestors are allowed only to use against toss is it? And if something is nerfed that pretty much says that it is regarded op. Unless it's a small tweak. Infestors speed nerf is a straight out nerf. And by bronze league I mean that it's certainly not op in pro games so surely you must be talking about some other league.

We need to start adding skill cap to the vocabulary. The speed reduction is plainly a nerf, but for the most part it makes it easier to use.

We shouldn't say "this is a buff"; we should say that "it decreases the skill cap". Otherwise we're going to be talking about this forever.

It's a buff for people who 1a. This is a bad thing. So what if Losira loses games because his infestors 1a, that's because no one is even close to being a perfect SC2 player yet. There's far too little micro involved in SC2 as it is, there's absolutely no reason to make things even easier.

Perhaps the Infestor speed nerf will force more players to be careful with their Infestor positioning.

I've seen way too many players, pros included, who needlessly charge their Infestors into the enemy lines as though they keep their Infestors in the same control group as the rest of their units. By punishing this mistake more, perhaps players will learn to save their Infestors more.

It might be forge expand now, but two gate used to be a popular opening v Zerg.

It's been this way for the last 5 years and how is it relevant to say what people use to do? Might be minor thing but I don't agree with this constant "zergs are a-moving" argument when it comes to zergs losing their infestors. From my own experience and from what I can tell from pro games I've watched it's usually because of misclicks. There is a difference.

This Thor change isn't very well thought out imo. Like other posters have said, this just eliminates any possibility of mech play from TvP and just reinforces the notion that you must go bio/ghost in TvP.

Also it's weird now because HTs can storm bio and banshees and feedback thors, battlecruisers, medivacs, ghosts, ravens and banshees. Maybe they should also get something to deal with tanks then, since they're at it.

Comes out that this change might actually benefit this players, since now infestors in the same control group won´t charge ahead.

At this point it would be better just to completely remove strike cannons. Having it be energy based makes the entire ability a massive handicap to Thors and they would be much better without it. It's bad enough that it costs 150/150 for an ability that is only good against 1 single unit in the game, but now Thors are a waste of resources vs P anyway so it barely matters.
