its unwatchable Thats a little vague... care to expand?
its lagging spiking so heavily
its no joy at all to watch, if this doesn't improve i won't bther watching the stream because well there are so many streams daily with a better quality and players of equal or higher caliber so why would i care watching a crappy stream of a league that takes forever with players that i either see every day or don't care about cause i don't even know them
i already fear that i will be losing interest in NASL because well ... there is not much excitement in one game if a player has another 8 to fall back on and if the stream isn't good i will just wartch results to keep track

the 1080p stream would get a "user limit reached" message and would have to watch 720p.

Same. Unfortunately Gretorp isn't cutting it IMO

Agreed. I'm not a fashion person but the t-shirt + blazer combo is really awkward... Just for the record I think it's awkward on tastosis too. Tbh I would prefer to see foreign casters dress like the korean casters (I love the collared shirt + colored bowtie combo)

Load screen shd have the player Races!

Right now on the nasl.tv website their doing a re-stream of last nights matches. However, it says "Live Match In Progress" at the top of the page. Thats misleading.
|
They should show the division standings before and after each match - on the first day, its probably not too important, but the sooner they start this the better.
Also, I think they had some skype or icq noises in the stream.
On the other hand, contrary to what many others said, I like the absence of in-game music.

I found the match VODS eventually by looking through multiple part, multi-hour long videos on justin.tv, but it was difficult, and non-obvious. I was not able to find any link to any match VOD whatsoever (just pregame interviews, etc.) on NASL.TV itself. Did I miss something obvious? I am logged in at nasl.tv (although figuring out if you are logged in or not seems difficult as well).
In a related note:
When I click on the schedule, and then click on a matchup: I want to be taken to the vod of the match, not be immediately spoiled by the RESULTS of the match!!! AAGH!!

I'm not a fan of the bowtie look, but a traditional, button up collared shirt + tie to go with the blazer would look worlds better I think.
A t-shirt and blazer isn't any classier than just a t-shirt. I think you either have to go totally casual or totally formal/professional. Not this halfway between business that seems to be the norm for SC2 casting.

Thought it was great quality when I watched the NA stream. Liked the added content of interviews and general overviews of players. Please try to avoid using "indeed" (gretorp) and "hold that thought" (inc).
|
The background is very drab. It's completely black with a faded (in the light they're using) NASL logo, it could look a lot more professional, especially if they got a greenscreen.

Only thing that seriously has peeved me so far is the brightness ><

This. Gretorp kept going from talking to screaming, every game, every battle.

Its unwatchable for europeans

I thought the GSL free stream was bad, but damn I think the NASL free stream is even worse quality, hard to believe.
|
Just finished watching the EU restream and I do not have anything good to say about the whole experience except that is was free... but so was DH (and GSL WC). So if they ever hope to get my money this will need to improve at least 50% in many areas.
I believe they will improve so at the moment I will not suggest anything until I see they feel they are done improving. I will reserve my final judgement for then.
|
Found Incontrol to be too overly biased about alot of the players. He was knocking Artosis his entire series basically. That and all the other technical difficulties people have been mentioning over and over again.
|
Just finished watching the European broadcast, I don't have much new to say that hasen't already been said many times in the last 20 pages, but I have one new and one for emphasis.
new) Skype sounds for me are annoying. between thinking it's me and just why is it there, if possible I'd rather it was not on the broadcast.
been said) seriously production tab 90% of the time please, unless to highlight the worker count, every other tab is uninteresting in comparison. And I think most people will agree it allows you to know whats happening in the base of the player not being shown, it's like the minimap of spectating.
