Is the fungal nerf really a nerf? If you're doing a simultaneous attack with infestors and banelings, 4 seconds of stun is more than enough time.

Furthermore, if you're fungaling a group to kill, it's SOO much safer if your fungal damage happens faster.

If you wanted to kill air units w/ a fungal/infested terran combo, you really couldn't do that before because the infested terran's hatch time was too long. Drop ships would get away.

However, 4 seconds is plenty of time for your mutas to get there and clean up.

at least Blizzard made it fair to everyone at the expense of making the game easier


They aren't significant. They are just those little small popups on the left side of the screen like when a building finishes. I guess it helps but it isn't a big deal.

On another note, the fungal projectile looks like pretty funny.

I hate to say this, but this patch is a step in the wrong direction completly for SC2. If anyone was hoping the game to gradually become more like BW(me), they probably don't have any hope left now

Agree, it just means the stim push is alittle late but with alot more firepower in its ranks. Its barely a nerf in the grand scheme of things.

The whole Amulet bussiness: Even Toss are tired of going Colossi every goddamn game regardless of matchup, and Blizzard is now saying "we want MOAR Colossi!"

First, why do people talk when they haven't played with the changes. Second, why do people complain when they can't read the question properly. Third, Archon Toilet was overpowered, and you know it. Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean it is balanced. Fourth, people haven't even given the new maps enough of a chance to judge them.

SHUT UP and play the game. Your voice has no effect on whatever the hell Blizzard wants to do with it. If they want to ruin it (they won't) then there's nothing you can do about it. If they want to make it better, they'll make it better. Not with your ridiculous whining when I believe none of you have any global significance or accomplishments in this game. Play the game. If you don't like it, stop playing. But most of all, stop complaining about it.

Ghost are less effective then ht's. If you keep ht's in the back what is useless about it? A lot of times protos players can even fire 2 storms from 1 ht doesn't that sound rediculous?

if this patch goes live it's gonna change quite a lot (just the things i can think of right now, which may have an impact sooner or later)...
- no more archon toilets (poor kiwikaki )
- no more instant storms available for toss
- it's possible to do the zealot snake which was just a joke in, i think beta (not realy gamechanging but looked quite funny)
- i guess no more bunker rushes (?), not sure if 5 seconds make the difference here
- no more stim timing attacks
- and fungal can now be denied by pdd's (!)

I wonder how fungal being a projectile will affect stuff, probably will act similar to EMP now.

Edit: oh, making units immune from vortex for 1.5 seconds seems extremely drastic, it will barely be useful for anything anymore, eh, at least mass recall will get more play.

The removal of Khaydarin Amulet is pretty ridiculous. The protoss army is already too centered on the colossus, removing the amulet upgrade will just make things even worse.

Im not too worried as a toss player. I will keep my hopes up that when they get done nerfing away thermal lances and amulet and making ht start with 0 energy, they will buff zealots, stalkers and sentries to have the dps of marines and marauders for cost and then we can easy mode push just like the terrans.

Can't understand why they're messing with the high templar instead of the colossus, and only changing the stim timing in regards to terran bio. It's as if they want terran to play bio all game long against protoss, which is just so boring in my opinion. Mech in TvP please!

Also, there's no reason for removing the viking flower and archon toilet. I've never seen anyone truly complain they were broken and they were just fun, little tricks found in the game.

Guys, PDD won't block Fungal Growths. Hell, Ghosts can use EMP to kill the energy off a PDD. That would be absurd.
