Where can I download that song about horses, and how they're the greatest?

Dear In-control, I love you as a player and person, when i heard about nasl i was super excited, but i felt a bit doubt when i saw the show match. It was awfully made, it gave me a bad feeling about the future of nasl but that has been cleared. The point of all this rage is 1 and simple thing. You asked for a re-stream, and banned that re-streamer because of personal feelings and insults in his stream, but stating the ban reason as "restreaming gsl/being a dick", this has caused a shit storm to arrive. But now that all of this has been cleared gl with nasl! ill be tuning in.

That said, can we get back to Q&A? This has been discussed to death already.
Oh, and any word on price of attendance yet? I live in Orange County and plan to come by at least a few times with some friends, and considering the cost of gas and time, I don't want to spend too much more.. oh and of course once you do set a price people are going to complain that the GSL has free attendance. Funsies.

I'm surprised we haven't received an official statement from an NASL official like Russ or Xeris regarding Incontrol's incident. Hearing from them would go a long ways IMO.

This thread is horrible. Who cares what Incontrol does as long as the casting is good. This isn't politics.

I hope that you don't actually stop making jokes, your stream is one of the most entertaining streams out there and people keep coming back to it for a reason. This thread just feels like the vocal minority forcing your hand, how many people actually tuned into your "restream" that night? At the end it was almost 4000 people, no one was there because you sometimes had the GSL stream tab open, they were there because of your commentary, no one there cared that you "restreamed"

This right here.
Honestly Geoff I would stop posting in here if I was you.
Clearly some people are only going to be happy when you are nailed to a cross for a mistake that you have already apologized for.

Unfortunately we are wired to create politics and drama.

This is an incredibly minor incident that is being blown way out of proportion...
Next thing you know, you're going to ask the NASL to make a public announcement whenever iNcontroL eats Chili.

Watch day9 cast chill v combatx. Then watch him now.
You can see the HUGE difference between 'community member' and 'face of sc2'.
Right now iNcontroL is making that transition. One day he'll be able to quote his own bear semen all over people and we'll all go "lololol" at it. Let's go with it.

I'll be disappointed if the result of this utterly pointless reddit drama is SotG being a much less entertaining show.

Public figures have to deal with this all of the time. In general, the best response is for iNcontrol to rise above all this. He apologized for his mistakes. Some people won't accept that. But iNcontrol needs to stop discussing it with these people that cannot be satisfied. He needs to put this behind him.

When we have nearly 1000 posts (700+ on Reddit, 300+ on Team Liquid) on Incontrol's transgression, it at least means the community doesn't think it's a minor incident.

That's exactly what I meant, although now that I reread my post I can see that in the final edit I took out the "iNc is iNc, but if he wants this to succeed he's going to need to become Day[9]" part :x
Or okay, he doesn't need to become Day[9], but you get the idea.

i wouldn't invest any more effort into even deflecting this. i was reading some dude hardcore flaming you on screddit, then under the same name, 20 minutes later, he was in your stream chat asking you friendly questions.
i seriously don't know what to think other than screddit has proven itself to be a community that i want no part of. it's all horrible attempts at bad memes, socially awkward stories from teenagers, and trolls. there is no intelligent thought at all. even when there is, there is always some asshat who feels the need to correct everyone and have a meltdown in the process.
if you ever wanted to talk to the starcraft youtube viewer fanbase directly, screddit is your place. the comments aren't too far from youtube quality either. it's all very roman Colosseum-esque in nature, and the crowd aint too sharp.
i wonder if they honestly believe that they can cry about reality until fantasy becomes reality. it's quiet romantic when you look at it that way and not childish in nature at all. i think the key word here is child. you mean you don't base your business decisions on the collective opinion of a group of anti-social children with ego problems? why not?
even if this was all perfect in terms of the rules and the layout, and day9 was the "face" of it all... i feel people would still be trying to burn this down simply for the fact that it could fail. people feel that they personally own esports and you have to act within their guidelines or be rejected by the community. sadly they are not intelligent enough to make rational or sane choices for the advancement of the community even if this were true. so how do we tell them this?
TLDR? any progress is better than no progress, and ur dumb if you think you matter. stop it.

InControl, I was watching your stream last night but went to bed 'early' (like 1:30 AM), so I obviously missed this. It sounds like people are blowing shit out of proportion ... again.
For everyone out there, why is this issue being bashed to death in this thread in particular? It has absolutely nothing to do with the NASL.
I think I'll answer that question for you: people on this board are desperate to discredit InControl, and are now hitting below the belt. It's not like they're making fun of how big he is or reality tv show appearance. They're using a mistake he made at 3 in the morning as an indicator of the future standards of the NASL.
That's disgraceful man. You're fucking with his career and the hardwork of otther people.
There's a difference between making fun of who people are and who people aren't. I don't know InControl personally, but he doesn't strike me as evil or incomptent or deserving of all the criticism that gets leveled at him.

Having 1000 posts of anything doesn't give any weight to anything. It can as easily mean people are just inflating the issue. I'm sure if you wade through the smut you would be left with fasr less.

I'd pay 20 dollars for a redub of the VODs with Geoff trolling and ranting about the players' mistakes!
