Regardless, the earliest they'll change their mind is for the next season, so it's really not so bad to wait a whole day until GOM announces more details and give your opinion. (Honestly, I think you should wait longer, until she actually casts, but I'll settle for a day.)
a whole day, that's 24hrs! Alot of people in this community dont have that kind of patience. The kind of patience that would actually indicate maturity. Come on you gotta be realistic! ;D

Guys, let's wait for the official announcement. Like some people have said, maybe Kelly is casting the Mandarin/Cantonese/Taiwanese stream. If GOM announces Kelly is casting the english stream, then you guys can start criticizing GOM's decision

You are welcome.
Just to clarify, this thread and what I have posted on TL mean that GOM will be making an official announcement sometime tomorrow.
Nothing more nothing less.
"GOM, when are you going to make an announcement about Code A casters?" "Tomorrow."

With that being said I am not sure why the thread about Kelly is at the "Community News" section.
Seems like Hot_Bid is not online right now. Why would it not be a community headline? As I just said, you can either accept that she is a first hand source, making this information just as legitimate as an official announcement from you, or call her a liar and blaming that thread for conveying false information, which it hardly actively does, since it lists its source and included a question mark for most of its time of having been opened.
While I appreciate your effort and your coming here - I really do; it is not something to be taken for granted and it shows that you really care about your audience - I must question that same sentiment immediately because of statements like this one, implying that only information approved by you can have any merit and attempt at truth.

Okay kids, look:
Whether you like this girl or not, a few facts:
Whenever you work for a professional organization, where there would be an official announcement, YOU DO NOT jump the gun with your own announcement. It is considered bad form, and a sign of poor discipline. Right now, when many people are deciding whether or not to purchase the premium package, is NOT THE TIME to make an announcement that could be considered controversial, or impact someone's purchase decision. It is likely, that GOM is now forced to make an announcement before they had hoped; AFTER more signups had been banked.
Another fact, whether you like the voice of the girl in question or not, her streams do not display the kind of game-knowledge and insight that we are used to from Tastosis. That is a fact. There are aspects to the game that I learned ONLY from listening to those casters. She adds nothing to a viewer's understanding of the game overall, or the strategies employed during a particular match.
I feel for the girl, because it appears the whole situation is turning out to be a huge cluster fuck, but GOM is a business, and Starcraft 2 deserves the opportunity to grow worldwide. Poor decision making in business, is just as bad as getting supply blocked in the game.
Good luck to her, but were I her at this point, I would gracefully exit from the controversy before being asked to leave the position. It would serve her well in the future to resign now, rather than risk an embarrassing firing over this.

I can go post on my twitter right now that I'm casting next season's Code S GSL. Does that make it true?

If GOM is so concernced with how their new casters are impacting sales then maybe they should have announced them earlier. Also, it's not like the season ticket will suddenly stop being available when the season starts. People will remain to be able to purchase it at any time they want. Having that information come out now rather than during the first matches shouldn't have any effect on the amount of people buying a ticket at all.

Give her a chance? Dude, this is business! You don't employ people who can negatively impact your business, whether you like that person or not. If she causes people to not want to buy the subscription, then she's got to go. That is not punitive, mean or anything else, just BUSINESS.

No dude, not at all. It was a poor decision to hire this girl, if they actually did. No, I dont think they should purposely withhold information either. All I am saying, is that if you DO get hired by an organization, you keep your trap shut until the official announcement, or risk losing your job before you get to ever do it. That is all I was saying.

I disagree with your premise. GOMtv has shown that they listen to their audience, big time. When we said the new observer sucked, they apologized, acknowledged it, and that dude improved almost overnight.
The new format was confusing, but it worked. And look, we now have the new maps, which is something we ALL wanted. I think GOMtv is doing an amazing job, we frankly we do a lot of premature bitching on this forum.
That said, she is a poor hiring decision.

We haven't made any official announcement yet because we do not have all the details. It's as simple as that.

and yes the maps were not complained about on the same level (there were no 1000x threads a night on the GOM forums) there were legitimate discussions, and I'm glad GOM listened.

I do realize I have GOM in my ID. And yes I do work for GOM. But I am posting this out of my own will. Because I thought from the community's POV, if I were an eSports fan waiting to watch GSL Mar., I would want to know when GOM will make an announcement about Code A casters.
And that will be sometime tomorrow. Not implying anything seriously. This is just a piece of information. Nothing more nothing less.
With that being said I will stop posting as it seems like it's creating more negativity than good.

People are just over reacting and hearing what they want to hear, most of us are aware you simply mean GOM will be making an official announcement tomorrow, and we look forward to it.
