Dear TL users and eSports fans:
Please be aware that we have not made any official announcements regarding Code A casters for GSL March.
We respect the opinions and concerns of the eSports community
and when we make an official announcement in the near future (possibly tomorrow)
you can be certain that the result has been reached by carefully examining
all the pluses and minuses of the options that were available to us at the time.
In the mean time enjoy the map analysis of Terminus RE, a new map that has been used in GSTL and will be used in GSL Mar.
Also check out the interview with LSPrime, the person behind the creation of Terminus RE and other fun maps.

I hope whoever it is that's casting, is that he or she has an American accent. Cause I sometimes have a hard time understand other accents specially non-native ones.

British accents are fine as well imo, it would add even more amazingness to GSL!!

I love how the ZvT section (in the map analysis) is all about how much harder the Terran will have it now.
One word can summarize the match-up between Zerg and Protoss: laser!
The biggest concern is whether or not the laser Toss can be blocked.

I really hope they don't kick her because of the shitstorm. At least they could let her do one season just to see how it goes. Many people in entertainment improve(d) a lot during their careers, especially in the very early stages. If no one took a risk every once in a while, we'd never see new faces. Also, maybe E-Sports doesn't need to remain a men's club in all eternity.

It has nothing to do with her being a girl. VTPeanut and the girl casting for GLHF #2 are both very good casters. No offence to Kellymilkies but her accent is really not nice to listen to. Being a commentator isn't just about your knowledge, it's about your voice as well and her voice doesn't suit it at all(imo).

Am I the only one who thinks that the post could be about Torch? Because everyone more or less assumes that Torch is going to the second caster, if it's not the case a lot of people would be disapointed imo.

I have only seen her in the two videos that were up on GosuGamers... But yeah, she sounds extremely obnoxious, and it has nothing to do with her accent or gender, it's just a terrible commentary voice.
Perhaps it was nerves or early in her career or something; Definitely willing to give her a chance if Gom thought she was good enough to hire. That said, she better perform better than on those two vids :p

I listened to a few of Kellymilkies casts after her premature announcement and was kind of saddened that she would be replacing Tastosis for Code A.
However, I can't honestly think of any other casters I like as much as the great casting archon.
Whoever is placed will ultimately initially disappoint; however their ability to grow on you and their personality will be the greatest determining factor if the casting duo will be a success or not.
As to the review of the map Terminus RE;
I find it disappointing, yet eye opening, (I'm a zerg player) that the TvP matchup is obviously based on early/late game unit effectiveness of the different races. It seems as maps get bigger this balance will be more heavily skewed towards Protoss in this matchup. Definitely something Blizzard has to consider as the community moves forward in favor of larger macro oriented maps.
Edit: More on topic; I think she deserves a trial season.

If she's not one of the casters anymore, not saying it's all her fault, but she did announce it before GOM could officially make the announcement. If she waited till GOM told everyone, the whole rage storm would have changed nothing. She should have just been more quiet and less straight forward. Torch did hint at him doing it, but she flat out said she was going to be one of the casters.

I hate American accents too just something about it that is extremely irritating, just because like every movie and TV has American actors doesn't mean I have to like it ...
