Also please note that when you get 3-4 ads before the match starts, that's completely normal.

i think it's asking to dl a plugin for the gomtv player? u have to click the left button to start to install it.

Oh, that means you only have the english version of the gom player installed, and not the korean player, you need both. Left button should prompt you to download the installer.
By the way... some people have success with opening korean gom vods in internet explorer using the plugin, that didn't work for me. so if that doesn't work for you, try to install the korean version of the gom player and run them from firefox. not sure which of the 2 chrome does, but i suspect it goes to the standalone as well.

is there any way to lower the quality? it's too laggy for me
oh i guess i can just pause and let it load ahead? but there is no progress shown or anything so i don't know how far it's loaded

Yeah was super laggy for me, but the quality is actually super nice, i just paused and let it buffer for ages

The first game with MC vs a zerg named Fire. MC does a 1 gate expand before cyber. then gets 5 gates, stargate, robo, around 5 pheonix and does a good amount a dmg with the pheonix while getting a quick 3rd. Its pretty sexy watching gameplay like this

+ Show Spoiler +^^ This is also on the super big map. Fire is expanding to the 2 mains furthest away (which is a loooooong way away) and MC scouts 1 of them but the zerg is now up to... 6 bases?
Edit: + Show Spoiler +But MC gets a large collosi count and goes and kills him.
I can tell if GSL is played on these new maps it will be amazing to watch

hmm I see the ads fine but it doesn't look like it's gonna show me any vod.
edit: after looking like it was gonna start a game in hi def that was 12 minutes long, it showeed me even more ads and started playing the correct video.

T_T cant watch it. Why don't the Korean GOm just post the same videos on US Gom to ease all the troubles? The US Gom seems to left out a lot of matches such as these.

But thank you for pointing out these VODs, I'm interested to see MC's play on the new GSTL maps. I'm not a big fan of Tal'Darim and I think some of the other maps are a little bland, but Coral City looks very interesting and pretty big, but with only 10 bases overall and pretty difficult thirds.
I think it's more in line with today's Blizzard maps, but with a decent rush distance, no positional imbalances and no ramp-blocking. Some of the new GSTL maps are a little overboard.

Quick note, this is the case for me: if you pause SD, it doesn't continue to load. If you pause HD, it does. So if you have a bad connection like me, loading HD and pausing is the only way to get a smooth experience.

Even in SD it is a stop-motion movie, can't believe how bad the routing to Korea is actually :S
I have 30 mbit + 4 ping (to Amsterdam server) connection ;(

That's right. The process of installing the player only worked when I clicked the link in IE, but once it was installed I was able to click through on Google Chrome and succesfully watch the video (presumably this could also work on other non-IE browsers).

There's a site that tends to mirror these Gisado VODs, in HQ. Even though the VODs are free, it's still questionably legal. So, if you don't mind downloading to your hard drive, before watching, send me a PM, and I'll give you the link.

GOM player tip I just fumbled across that may help slow loaders: Use the X and C keys to speed up or slow down playback... i imagine slowing it will help some of the stutter effects when it's laggy.

I tried Opera, FF, IE, Chrome in that order... Chrome was the only one that worked (had to dl the krn gomtv plugin like everyone else is talking about), although FF kinda worked, but when I clicked a game it would redirect to a 404 page not found @_@

Indeed, it was quite entertaining.

Also, I find that initially pausing the video for a few minutes should get rid of most of the lag. This coming from someone watching the video from the US Midwest on GOM player.

It's the 11th game. There's a bar on the right side of the page where you can choose which game to watch.

Works well, it just lags quite a bit, and there's sometimes a long list of ads before I can watch the videos. Worth it though. Thanks.
EDIT: Switching to SD makes the lag much better. P.S these Korean ads are crazy haha.

It usually goes to the game after 3-5 ads, I just mute it and do something else while waiting.

Lol was going to watch boxer vs nada on korean gomtv, but was too laggy. So i let it buffer and start again and watch like a minute and then it stops and advertising pops up...... And the match is gone, and i have to click some korean stuff, that links me to korean random websites, to get pass the advertisement and after that... more advertisement....

working fine for me! I clicked on the 11th game vod (as shown in the screen shot in the OP) and after 3 or so commercials I got the VOD in HD. I had to let it buffer up a bit although there doesn't seem to be any on-screen indicator that it is buffering.

yeah man that is what i was trying to say. I already installed koeran version but i guess it doesnt know that i have it. I remember trying to watch vods for something else earlier and it didnt work back then either.
Could somebody maybe record their stream when decide to stream this. I kno xeph streams this atleast.
