DTs are a bit harder to tech to than in BW, but that can't be the sole reason, right? I disagree by the time DTs are out lair is finished and the zerg can get overseers.

Im actually curious about Phoenix/DT as well. I'm almost positive zerg could get overlords before DTs came out in bw.

spamming spore crawlers around perimeter of your creep and leaving a few at each base would deal with that fairly nicely. It would be strong in a direct encounter with a zerg army if you could collect enough gas to do it and keep the zerg army from retreating to his spore crawlers.

Fungal hard-counters both of them.

Hey guys I have a quick question regarding GSL, ingame most of the time the names of the players are displayed up the top of the screen but next to the name of the player there will b a letter/number combo Tx Zx Px just wondering what it stands for. T,Z,P obviously is the race the player is but curious about the number attached? Thanks

T12 is a terran spawning at the 12 o'clock position (north), Z4 is a zerg spawning at 4 (southeast).

With the current small maps I believe your opponent could just attack and kill you before you got the Dark Templars. Might be viable on shakuras platau, or any new large maps.

I've always been puzzled why Warp Gates are straight-up better than Gateways. I feel that the ability to warp in units should be a trade-off in build time compared to training straight-up.
For example, it currently takes 10 more seconds to train a zealot than the warpgate cooldown.
If we made build time slightly less than warp-in time, it could reward players that use a combination of gateways/warpgates. It would also help people hold off 4-gate rushes if they could get their reinforcements quicker than their opponents due to their having to warp in.

2 port banshee: how the hell do I beat that as zerg?
(obviously you can't ever actaully scout it, I'm just looking for a blind counter to do when I know he isn't pushing me)

Phoenix/DT could be good for harass, however, I think that the tech routes you'd need to pursue to make it effective are too diverse to make it useful in the mid game. You'd need a stargate, DT tech, a few gateways, and I'm thinkin a robo-bay for a warp prism to circumvent the spore/spine crawler at entrances defense.
Interesting idea about the warpgates taking longer arcfyr. It might open up strats for pvp, but it would probably effect balance in other matchups in a negative way. It's interesting that you have the option to revert to a gateway and back again to warpgates, but no incentive to do so.
To stop 2 port banshee, you have to at least recognize some of the signs while scouting. The major one is an early double gas. If I scout a double gas with my initial scouting drone at all, I usually make an extra queen or two against terran. If the banshees come you can use transfuse to fight them off while you wait for mutas to pop, and if they banshees don't come you can use the extra queens to spread creep and help with defending drops. Double gas means a starport, whether it's 2 port banshee or not.

So I play on the US server, but I'm soon to coach someone on the EU server. because of this, I needed a second account. so i got the 2nd account from eu.battle.net and d/l the EU client; however, regardless of where I try to save the files, it tries to save certain files in the same location and wants to overwrite my US client. I read the threads on TL concerning this and I couldn't find an up to date answer that works :-/. Do I need to use a separate computer to install the EU client so it won't overwrite my US client? Because I'm not wasting 2-3 hours reinstalling the game every time I plan to switch from US to EU! A friend of mine has a spare computer we keep a copy of US client SC2 on but since its really just an extra, I could probably switch that baby to EU... worst case scenario. It'd be really nice to have a Sc2 - NA client and SC2 - EU client on the same computer though, and I feel like there has to be a way to make it work. Thanks for the help!
I dont know what you are talking about. I have both clients installed done in the proper way. Just select a different installation folder.
My folder looks like this
Games\Starcraft\SC2 EU Games\Starcraft\SC2 NA
Same drive too.

So I looked at the banner for probably the fiftieth time, and after searching it now occurred to me...
Does the TL mascot have a name?

Can anyone show me Catz's Proxy Hatch Roach Rush? I've been looking everywhere and can never find it.

Buy two versions of the game, install in two different directories, run the executable from one of the two game folders to play on the respective server.

Lots of terran have problems with Storm+Collosi, when it comes to macro game i hardly ever seen terrans stopping toss ball of storm and collosi. Its get rofl stomped so easy.. not to whine imba or anything, but i hardly see answer for this.

Scan a lot (or float a factory!) at proper timings, it might feel costly but when you hit that perfect scan and see them tech switching its worth so much more than that quick 270 minerals a mule could've brought you. Both of these tech switches have "hard counters" to them which are needed to properly combat the protoss, versus colossus it is obviously vikings which can be produced extremely quickly and against hts your answer is usually one tech building away, ghost academy.
At this point it oftentimes becomes a micro war, just be extremely careful about engaging your opponent and the terran should be able to do just fine.
