I watch a fair amount of Youtube SC2 related stuff so I just wanted to compile a list of what I feel are the best SC2 Youtube channels. Maybe you guys will discover someone you didn't know about. This is in no particular order. I feel everyone on this list is pretty good and worth a subscription.
HD Starcraft: http://www.youtube.com/user/HDstarcraft This guy kind of came out of nowhere and is now getting stupid crazy amount of views. Obviously one of the most popular casters on Youtube. He has a very polished and professional voice and always gives a great shout cast.
Husky: http://www.youtube.com/user/HuskyStarcraft What can you say, this guy is huge! I think Husky just has a very likeable personality and isn't afraid to make fun of himself. He also gets ridiculous amount of hits.
Day9: http://www.youtube.com/user/day9tv Probably peoples favorite caster, especially the hard core SC2 players. Consistently gives the most insight. Best to watch the show live on his u stream account but Youtube is good to watch the archived shows.
Crota: http://www.youtube.com/user/BlizShouter A very prolific casters, constantly turning out new videos, he even occasionally streams games on TL. I just wish he would do more analysis and maybe a little less of the play by play stuff.
Diggity: http://www.youtube.com/user/diggitySC I was watching this guy way before SC2 was even out, he did a lot of BW commentary. Just a good overall caster.
GrethSC: http://www.youtube.com/user/GrethSC This channel a just a little "different" (but in a good way!). I haven't watched a ton of his videos to really get a feel for him from what I have seen he is definitely worth a subscription. Quote for Greth: "I basically cast on the most terrible games the Starcraft universe has ever seen. It's all comedy. There is nothing serious about it"
Hunter Starcraft: http://www.youtube.com/user/HunterStarcraft Another caster making a name for himself. I haven't watched a ton of his videos but the ones I have watched were well done and he gives more then enough analysis to keep it interesting.
Moletrap: http://www.youtube.com/user/moletrap Another old school BW caster. I believe him and Diggity are good friends. Where Diggity has a more laid back style Moletrap has a lot of energy and starts talking real fast when the action gets intense.
Psy Starcraft: http://www.youtube.com/user/PsyStarcraft Another caster I thought was good. I believe he is also a pretty good SC player. EDIT: Sounds like I need to give this guy a lot more credit, has a strong following and I got quite a few replays basically saying my summery of him was pretty underwhelming.
SC2GGRise: http://www.youtube.com/user/SC2GGRise This guy hasn't been making any videos for the last couple of month but I figure I would mention him just because he has been around since BW and was pretty good.
Starcraft Scientist: http://www.youtube.com/user/StarcraftScientist He hasn't done a video in 5 months but his work up to that point was pretty good. Maybe all the strange tricks have been discovered. Hopefully he is not gone for good.
Violtak:http://www.youtube.com/user/VioleTAK This is just a super old school BW channel. They now cast SC2 games, Diggity and Moletrap do the majority of the casts on this page.
xHydrax: http://www.youtube.com/user/xHydrax This is probably my favorite caster you have never heard of! He seems to know a lot about the players and always has something insightful to say. It may be some fact or history on the players or just some strategy analysis. But definitely check this guy out!
Total Biscuit:http://www.youtube.com/user/TotalHalibut The Cynical Brit he calls himself. Seems to have more of a humorous style. Click on grid style, play list and then the latest SC2 videos because he has a lot of other content besides SC2.
Ahnaris: http://www.youtube.com/user/AhnarisStarcraft Nice looking channel, sounded good, has a lot of videos and looks to have a strong fan base. Says he dose work with SK gaming.
Nuubcast:http://www.youtube.com/user/NuubCast Focuses more on low level SC2 games with the "smattering of high level" casts. Uses several different casters.
AskJoshy:http://www.youtube.com/user/AskJoshy Since I don't know the guy I'll just grab a comment from his page "splendid castings and knowledgeable in StarCraft 2 intricacies"
Love4Starcraft:http://www.youtube.com/user/Love4Starcraft Some one said Love4starcraft is hilarious with his accent. I watched a little and he seemed very knowledgeable about the players.
FTW Broadcastinghttp://www.youtube.com/user/FTWBroadcasting Says: Hot Starcraft 2 Action with Dual Commentary in HD! "Home of the TROLLCAST" From what I heard I didn't hear much trolling, just quality dual casting.
Neilmurp AKA Cecilhttp://www.youtube.com/user/Neilmurp Old school caster back from BW that I enjoyed listing to. Doesn't have a ton of SC2 videos yet but looks like he is churning out at least a video or 2 every week.
Ketroc21http://www.youtube.com/user/Ketroc21 Says "I am a 2100pt Diamond League player and I commentate ladder matches to help others with their game as well as to entertain" and he claims to only has 45 APM! I only watched two of his videos but I really liked his style. You definitely need to check this guy out.
Doa Starcrafthttp://www.youtube.com/DoaStarcraft The Youtube home of Doa, a shoutcaster for The Rush Network! I watched one video where he commented on his own game, was good.
Starcraft Connectionhttp://www.youtube.com/user/StarcraftConnection Educational Videos by SUGGY with the focus of the live game commentaries. Basically this guy comments while playing and tells you what his thought process is during the game.
Mr Bitterhttp://www.youtube.com/user/MrBitterTV This guy was nice enough to pay for PRO lessons, record them and then let us watch them for free! Go to the play lists and enjoy. If you are serious about your SC2 game I can't emphasize enough how good these video are!
ExoStarcrafthttp://www.youtube.com/user/ExoStarcraft High level casts and he says "recently I've started doing a weekly podcast featuring an analysis of certain strategies or players, to help people grasp the concepts of the concepts much better and in-depth"
SiEGEStarcrafthttp://www.youtube.com/user/SiEGEStarcraft A caster from the UK, has been priviliged to cast some live tournaments in South Africa as well as doing my usual thing, casting professional Sc2 players.
itmeJPtvhttp://www.youtube.com/user/itmeJPtv JP McDaniel is his name and you may know this guy from this "State of the Game" Pod Cast. Well now he has a youtube channel and I suspect it's going to be a MUST-WATCH for all the hardcore SC2 fans. (if you read this JP I hope you also contunue to produce the pod casts, the video visuals are nice but pure audio cast has an AM talk radio quality I really enjoy).
kelly MILKIEShttp://www.youtube.com/user/kellyMILKIES A cute female caster, what more do you want? From her channel: "Starcraft II players High Level replays Starcraft II VODS replays, VODs of my livestream of online tournaments, etc"
Destiny - Starcraft 2http://www.youtube.com/user/remembertomorrow0 Zerg player who streams almost every day, has between 1k and 2k viewers all the time. His vods are fixed and then uploaded Youtube.
Talesoflumin's Channelhttp://www.youtube.com/user/talesoflumin Home of Pulse, Mitarn and Tales of Lumin. Pulse - This is a weekly show dedicated to the development, evolution and hopefully expansion of the South African and International Bizzard community. Mitarn Ladder - A series focused on Starcraft II gameplay analysis.
starcraftsquadhttp://www.youtube.com/starcraftsquad "We are two devoted Starcraft II players who want to give back to the starcraft community in any way we can."
gosucrewhttp://www.youtube.com/user/gosucrew Gosu Crew LLC is an E-Sports event hosting and media coverage company dedicated to bringing you, the fans, the most entertaining tournament coverage possible.
Pioustarcrafthttp://www.youtube.com/Pioustarcraft Je suis Piou, joueur de jeux vidéos qui essaye de faire connaitre l'eSport via Starcraft 2 en commentant des parties de Starcraft en Français et en Anglais.
SC2Mythbustershttp://www.youtube.com/SC2Mythbusters "In this channel, we test various things in Starcraft II which you don't normally see in an average game."
SC2MuffinFTWhttp://www.youtube.com/SC2MuffinFTW "Hi, I am MuffinFTW along with my partner Anglory dual-casting multiple games between well-known players in the competitive scene!"
The Starcraft Vaulthttp://www.youtube.com/thestarcraftvault A new caster from the UK, I am trying to bring good content to the world of starcraft and its viewers!
Epic SChttp://epic.sc/ is where you'll find 17,957 (and counting) StarCraft II videos, organized and tagged
SC2.FMhttp://sc2.fm/ The oldest and biggest starcraft cast/stream database with over 24000 vods and 100 new starcraft vods per day.
If you know of someone who's good, active and not listed on this page PM me know and I will add them (eventually, may take a week or so). Or just talk about the the ones listed and what you like about them (sometimes I forget to login and check my PM's so it may a week or so for me to update). Peace!

fix the link for huntersc
How about compiling a list of subs they have. Will give further insight
Fixed! thanks!!!
See all the casters on Youtube I didn't know about!
Sorry if I left out someone favorite I will try to add the ones I missed. I'm just one person, I can't know all the best channels on youtube .
Good list, but I think you need to give more credit to Psy. I'm not even a Zerg player but getting his insight is incredibly helpful. Not to mention casual and competitive players learn things from his annotations.
French commentators, they always do dual commentaries.
These guys are actually really really good if you can understand the language. Generally more entertaining and just as informative as any English casters, and they're very popular (11M total upload views).
shoulda put the famous casters like day[9] at the bottom, so that people (like me...) dont auto-click on them lol good list, although i'd rather watch a live-stream than browse through a youtube channel.
I like Ketroc21, since, even though he doesn't have many subscribers, he self casts his very crazy openings and strategies. One of my favorites.
EDIT: Also TheMeInTeam is an excellent caster of SC2, and other strategy games like Civilization, and a few others. He doesn't seem to be doing much starcraft lately, but he is excellent nonetheless.

If the OP does get around to putting my channel up there, I've created this content grid you can link to that contains only my Starcraft 2 stuff, so you don't have to risk accidently watching WoW content (the horror).
I definitely think psy deserves a little more than a sentence, he has great analitical zerg commentaries and he mostly casts his own games playing against very good players, definitely my favorite guy to watch on youtube, except maybe for Artosis, he may have less vids than everyone but he has some real quality amazing games on there and his commentaries are also excellent.

List could certainly use a bit more research and detail I feel for it to be 'ultimate' and definitive
I noticed ftwbroadcasting is not on your list, they're a nice duo with a little bit of a following and they do pretty solid dual casts, worth checking out!
Good list! Found more casters I never knew existed! Day9 is my favorite caster for how absolutely amazingly helpful he is. Husky is good too but because he can make me lol. And then there is ForceSc2Strategy who helps me with all kinds of builds.
...And there is Mesk ( http://www.youtube.com/mancatcher ) - my favorite when it comes to having fun. He used to cast pro games during beta (all worth seeing just for his commentary sake), but now he says he got bored of that and he accepts random games ppl send him (which often results in situations that doesn't happen everyday, like 0 hatch hydra win over a well settled terran, 100 banelings on the field, a vortex with your teammate's 3 banelings in on 100 M&M - before the "archon toilet" was "invented", I guess, etc.), so he can do what he does best:
Try this short one for example:
..make fun of those ppl (they appear to like it), freak out at random times, talk the funniest theories and shit 'bout SC2, curse, go extreme and super-enthusiastic when the time is totally not right and then immediately switch to calm, regular casting. He's got that intelligent and dark kind of humor that reminds me of Jon Stewart. He also likes to stay quiet when nothing really happens (instead of shouting things everyone knows) which reminds you he doesn't really give a shit and he just wants to have fun himself (also by making fun of himself at times). You gotta see more games to experience it all as he's not really repeating himself much.
He claims he's used to be a voice actor and I'd believe him.
He's also a modder and has quite deep knowledge 'bout things all the other casters have no clue about - game engine, scripting, textures etc. and he often shares his views on how things are in SC2 from that perspective - mostly 'bout what Blizzard did bad.
He also plays custom music everytime. Sometimes it's some totally epic tune, out of place like hell 'coz some noobs are playing, etc. He's got really good musical taste, I'd say.
Oh.. he doesn't necessarily call all the units the way they're called. He's got his own names for some, so don't be surprised hearing 'bout "mustaches" or "snow globes".
So... definitely worth subscribing 'cause what he provides just stands out and is not there to teach you anything, but entertain you like a good sketch or something + other stuff.
If you send him funny / silly / weird games - 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, ffa, even low-level, he'll most likely cast them.
edit:
Yo dawg, apparently I just advertised Mesk along with Mesk himself, so you can learn 'bout Mesk from Mesk while you learn 'bout Mesk from Me. Cheers Mesk. I've registered just to do that.
edit 2:
xHydrax definitely deserves more hits. Some ppl complain 'bout his voice but once you "get to know" him better, you just can't not like that symphatetic guy and his imperfect Spanish accent. He's also 35 in case you like older men, but srsly... His maturity > all other casters. He also provides some unique matchups as he kind of focuses on Korea.
Used to watch loads but the only ones I really follow now are Artosis, Day[9] and PsyStarcraft - they seem to have the right balance of entertainment and education. Dont really have time to regularly watch more than these 3 and GSL.
husky/askjoshy/diggity/schickysc (http://www.youtube.com/schickysc - one to add to the list) occasionally get a lookin if it's between players I particularly like watching.
They are "singcasts" done by Blinn (maker of raynor party). The games are commentated in song as they happen. There aren't many games up right now but they are pretty freaking funny and more are on the way. I think they're really entertaining and worth checking out for a new spin on casts.

Sure, go ahead.
I would really want do do this myself, but I wont have the time for a while.
If anyone would like to set up a liquidpedia page on this please do!!!! I think it would be greatly appreciated by the community and a very useful resource
I did some work on a similar project over at SCA (except this was more of an in-house caster list), I'll see if I can narrow down some good ones from the Google cached page and post 'em here. Looks like you already got a solid list going however, nice work :D
Note that there's a lot of inactive channels on there, and varying levels of quality. I'll sort through them and update this post w/ a decent list once I'm home tonight.
BTW: TY for the inclusion, a thousand capybaras shall go surfing tonight in your name -
TaKeTVTaKeSeN: http://www.youtube.com/user/TaKeTVTaKeSeN - ze Germans (can't understand shit except buildings & units names, but I tend to watch them sometimes when they come up with a game no one else has), lots of uploads + they hired an "exotic" dancer for Xmass and did a video with her as a gift to their fans, so I guess they're ok.
Don't forget about other BW casters like NukeTheStars!
NukeTheStars regularly does Brood War casts and content. He focuses on OSL stuff mostly, but he occasionally covers other games like MSL and Proleague.
On January 07 2011 13:55 UberThing wrote: How about showing the number of subs they have in the 1st post?
Subscriber totals don't really tell the entire story, some of my favorite casters are the relatively unknown ones.

I didn't include Nuke the Stars because it 100% BW and no SC2. This list is only for SC2. Nuke looks like a fantastic channel for BW stuff thou.
Sometimes I wish I could just sort casters by ladder pts. Yeah I'm sure there are a lot of knowledgeable casters who suck at ladder, but in a crowded casting population, you gotta have a way to know which caster actually knows his/her stuff (or has a higher probability of having not just superficial knowledge).

I think it really depends on what you're looking for from casters IMO....I mean obviously some people are just more suitable for casting. If you really wanted high level insight I suppose you would need people like Code S GSL to cast....but will they do it in an enjoyable way?
Take Husky for example.....obviously he's only High Plat-Low Diamond, but people like him because he brings spice and life to the replays.
Besides, look at any other sport in the world.....are the casters or commentators actually good at the game? In most cases, probably not. You don't have to be the best of the best to actually know the game.
Oh and BTW, I recommend "ForceSC2strategy" on Youtube, his tutorials gives great advice to people Plat and lower, and can occasionally provide useful insight to Diamond level players.
Been watching xHydra and Psy now. I watch Psy because he makes me laugh like a little schoolgirl and xHydra knows his shit. Stopped watching HD and Husky once I realized I was better than bronze and they don't know what they're talking about.
On January 07 2011 23:23 mavyric wrote: Oh and BTW, I recommend "ForceSC2strategy" on Youtube, his tutorials gives great advice to people Plat and lower, and can occasionally provide useful insight to Diamond level players.
Second that, I just found his channel the other day and it's really quite good.
So this is not really a caster but http://www.youtube.com/user/MrBitterTV here you can find coaching sessions with Machine and iNcontroL.. I haven't watched it all but it seems to be mostly zerg related. Also I dont know if he is going to upload more vids, but the vids he has uploaded already is definitely full of tips and strategies to improve.
Alot of new caster to check out for me :D I have mostly been watching day9, TotalBiscuit and PsY! Three diffenrent styles of casting, my favourites!
my fav out of them all are psy/day 9. husky keeps spewing trash and gets annoying. HD does have a very professional voice but keeps using the same catch phrases and gets repetitive. Crota does have good commentating but his voice isnt that suited for it.
I'm currently up to 32,500 subscribers and just finished casting several bo3's from a Russian New Year's tournament with players like oGsTOP, oGsMC, LiquidRet, oGsZenio, mouzStrelok, mouzMana, and more! =)
SchickySC - http://www.youtube.com/user/SchickySC was supposed to cast the steelseries thing, did a few games, also used to cast a pretty high profile KoTH thing, hasnt been actived over xmas though
I also believe qxc has a channel where he analyzes his games
Regular dosage of xHydrax, AskJoshy, and occasional sprinkle of Day9 is all you need (Anymore then sprinkle of Day9 is over-dosage o.O). HD and Husky brings no substance but hypes to the game. Thanks to the list, I have opportunity to visit more casters.
Thanks a lot for this list, I'm new to the SC2 community and only knew about AskJoshy and day9 channels, I honestly couldn't find other youtube casters, but with this list my SC2 needs are filled up until the end of the world in 2012.

HD is good once in awhile but Husky is just terrible and misses everything... Day9 and Psy along with the GSL is good enough for me with a little bit of Emo when he actually does VODs.
Thing that rubbed me wrong way with casters.
Emo- Begging for donations to buy a new computer for making videos and then basically stopping or slowing down to a crawl
Husky- nothing more than a emo fanboi shout caster
HD- Too much like Husky AT times... but not nearly as often.
I am a Chinese caster from Taiwan. My channel now is mainly for tournament video of my stream. But frequently have some replay commentary if I found interesting one. And sometime will cast game from Taiwan tournament.
On January 08 2011 07:45 purecarnagge wrote: Emo- Begging for donations to buy a new computer for making videos and then basically stopping or slowing down to a crawl
He's a pretty good Protoss user (I believe he is almost in top 200 or something) and casts a lot of Protoss oriented videos, including pros and himself. It is a shame he has slowed down a bit tho.

I liked the guy up until he took the loot and stopped posting videos on a regular basis...

Thanks for the shoutout!
Although in the past I primarily covered strategy discussion, been doing a lot of casting lately and its getting solid reception, so I intend to continue doing it.
Check out my casts and toss me up on the list if you like =)
<<<<<<<<<<<<<< this is a marker for me so I don't re-read the entire thread>>>>>>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<<<<<I'll start from this point and work my way down for future updates>>>>>>>>>.
Ok, I updated the list and I think I got em all. If I missed someone who YOU think deserves to be on this list, please post on this thread and send me a PM with a short description on what the channel focuses on and what you really like about the channel.
Also please continue to give your favorite caster a shout out on this thread. The more one persons name continue to show up the more other people will think "Hmmmm, maybe I should give XXXX guy a listen, a lot of people really like him".
I really like to watch this guy. He's been on leave for a while since his video card took a dump, but now that he got a new one, he's starting to cast a lot more! Really worth a look.
Hello! Mind if I get added to the list? I cast out of http://youtube.com/user/catspajamassc2. Cast on TL almost every night, and have agreed to be the caster for multiple organizations. Also will be casting the Reddit Starcraft 2 Open this weekend.
Very nice resource lowlypawn, but if you want to keep it an Ultimate list you should add me! I cast pro matches along with some of my own ladder games. I have posted 260 videos. I play all races and currently I am around 2500 Masters. Thanks
I'm a little 'Different' am I? That's probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said when talking about casters. Thanks for the mention! If anyone wonders. I do casual BW and SC2 games. I basically cast on the most terrible games the Starcraft universe has ever seen. It's all comedy. There is nothing serious about it.
They now cast for the french team *aAa* and also do live stream on *aAa*'s website and it is linked in TL as well. One of them is really more knowledgeable than the other but over all, the 2 of them aren't as knowledgeable as Husky, HD or a lot of the caster i usually watch... Although they are a good opportunity for french speakers who don't understand english to watch SC2 casts, i personnally get very quickly borred watching them. Again, it's my personnal point of view, but i think that they are shouting too much as unappropriate moments and their lake of knowlegde is really annoying. They tend to take side and they don't stay objective as every good caster should...
At the moment, my favorite casters are Husky, HD, Day[9], Psy, Artosis, Anaris and AskJoshy...

Haha, I didn't mean any offense I actually re-read what I wrote and it sounded a little unflattering and I didn't mean it that way. So I updated it and added what you said .
When I wrote this thread I really didn't think it would get the views that it has, I also didn't realize just how huge SC2 was on youtube. Anyway, I have updated the list and as always. If I missed someone you feel worthy post or send me a PM. Thanks!
Mr Bitter http://www.youtube.com/user/MrBitterTV This guy was nice enough to pay for PRO lessons, record them and then let us watch them for free! Go to the play lists and enjoy. If you are serious about your SC2 game I can't emphasize enough how good these video are!
Bitter actually coaches new Zerg players and records HIS coaching sessions (which he then lets us watch for free.) If that's not enough to get him moved up on this list, the fact that he regularly has Machine/IncontroL and other top players commentating, playing and coaching as well. I personally consider Bitter to be the #1 video resource for the entire Zerg race, and I know dozens who feel the same way. For anyone who hasn't seen them, the description doesn't give him credit, the videos Bitter's puts out are invaluable. He's also (almost) constantly streaming on TL if you ever have a chance to take a look.
Is missing. Sure his channel is pretty much "very inspired by Total Biscuit", but i like that he keeps the VODs coming, even if very few people are watching. The production value of his videos is pretty high and he has weekly news shows about whats going on in SC2 besides the "main esports countries". Also he has quite a lot of sc2 casts online.
PSY is by far my favorite Caster of games. Day9 is obviously the best when it comes to anything else (anaylisis/being awesome) But for sure PSY deserves a lot more credit!! He is actually a great player, and if there are any Z that want some info you should for sure watch his stream! He is a part of VILE gaming and he is crazy funny!
Crota makes me cringe... because he is analytical without the knowledge behind it. He's generally exciting, fun even, but doesn't have the endearing quality of Husky... and by endearing quality I mean the fact that Husky KNOWS that he doesn't know much about the game, and focuses on what he sees and has a hunch about.
In the end I wish Tasteless would have a youtube account. Artosis gives the most depthwise, seeing as he doesn't shoutcast much at all (sometimes it's just fast paced analysis during even Major battles) which I generally like. I kinda dislike whenever someone is shouting in my ear saying something about the mundane micro when they COULD be talking about how one player's choice of remacro'd units was perfect, or how certain tech units can now be better utilized because of the low army counts. As always Day9 is awesome. Moletrap is probably my favorite shoutcaster (Commentator TBH) because he seems to most emotionally involved of any of the casters on the list. Diggity is like a less drunk less good at starcraft Liquid'Tyler/NonY so chill that his commentaries have a relaxing quality to them... which shounds weird but is actually quite nice. Greth has always been funny in an awkward kinda way. Rise has always been the asshole of the commentators, but seriously, whoever DOESN'T like him is way to sensitive, I will never forget his reactions to Firebathero's dancing. I intermittently watch xHydrax, Ahnaris, and AskJoshy, but I feel like I just don't always get their charm, though Ahnaris can be quite funny at times. I like HD because I know he tries really hard... and that's so cuuute ^.^
Artosis Tv smashes them all. Stright, to the point, no bull-shit casting and Artosis always knows what hes talking about. Day9 is definatly basically just about as knowledgeable, but i feel like Artosis is more strightforward. But all of this HDstarcraft Husky rubish, gah, these guys just fuck around to much and sell out and what not. They put an ugly un-original modern feel to there casting and i dont like it. Artosis Tv for life

Artosis is great, has a unique persepctive and access to the scene because he's in Korea.
As for HD and Husky being "sell-outs"; show some respect, jackass. The reason why they're the most popular is because they work the hardest, and produce the most content on a consistent basis, with the exception of Day 9. They make the game fun, and promote it well.
I wouldn't know about Day9, Artosis, or even Team Liquid if it weren't for their replays. They bring new people to the scene.
You definitely need to add JP, youtube.com/itmejptv . His channel is shaping up to kick some ass.
I like Artosis, Day9, and HD. I think HD has the class and comfort on the mike to bring casting to more people that than the others. I don't consider that selling out - I think he has just the right mix of technical content and fun.
Here is me hoping I can get included on the list. Im a caster from the UK and have been priviliged to cast some live tournaments in South Africa as well as doing my usual thing, casting professional Sc2 players. I've had a load of realy good feedback recently so I know my casts are getting better and better all the time. Please include me in your list
I actually agree with everything you say!!!! But....... I'm not sure if I want to start moving everyone around on the list. I'll never please everyone and I basically put them on the list in the order I learned of them. As new casters are added they will be added to the bottom. I can just imagine all the bitching in a thread trying to rank all the casters lol.
http://www.youtube.com/user/PopCornsc2?feature=mhum Umm people check out my channel and please subscribe, there aren't any videos up right now, but soon there will be. Also we are giving out free products to the first few subscribers, and some others we will draw. We will have Nvidia, Razer products, and much more. So SUBSCRIBEEE!!! FREE STUFFFF!!!!
Hello guys my name is Jonus and I am a member of VP Gamers, and I have recently started to get back into casting. Anyways I wanted everyone to check out my channel and give me some suggestions and comments about my casting so I can improve. Good or bad is fine, if you think I am just horrible that’s fine , hopefully I will gain some fans though! Anyways I just recently posted the SGL matches between Team Soul and VP Gamers Pro Team (still a few more to upload). Check it out and let me know what you think
Giving a shout-out for an acquaintance of mine who happens to also be Husky's friend/roommate. He's got his own Youtube casting channel too, so please add it to the list :D.
www.youtube.com/KaelarisStarcraft Focussing mostly on Protoss play, pro-games and tutorials. A British Commentator currently living in Finland, working along-side CSN to bring you the best in SC2 entertainment!
Klazart and Cholera definitely need to be included in that list. They have done more for starcraft than most new fans know, and even though they are not a part of the SC2 scene, their names need to be remembered and appreciated.
This guy is the only person who made me literally LOL casting SC replays. Lots of profanity, so not good for kids. He casts lots of random low skilled team games and FFAs, and makes them super entertaining.
NOooo you missed Cholera! You are not a true starcraft fan unless you tune in to his lessons about the exploits of Reach. Everyone should know the legend of the mantoss.
Husky: Hilarious, humble, self-deprecating and outright entertaining. My go-to guy for mindless SC2 casting and favorite.
HD: I loved both HD & Husky equally during Beta days. But I think HD is neither funny/entertaining like Husky nor is a serious heavy analyzer like Day9. So he's bit lukewarm to me. I still enjoy his casts.
It's funny, HD & Husky are just like Ryu & Ken. They were mirror characters of SF2, then they slowly started to differentiate from each other. Husky got more funny with his antics just like Ken's personality & Ryu is the arch-typical, albeit a little boring, caster. Holy shit I sound like a nerd.
Day9: Used to like him far more. Now I get a feeling most of his lessons are just repeating itself and rehashing a set of similar wisdoms. But what can you do when you're dedicating hours of lessons on a near-daily basis for over years. Was it MLG last year? He sort of turned me off when he showed inability to cohesively dual-cast. He would constantly cut off the other caster and tried to hog the spotlight (I wasn't the only one feeling this way). That sort of turned me off. Nowadays he's much better dual casting in current tournaments. He's a great asset of SC2 community, no doubt.
Artosis: He possesses both entertaining humor and seriously amazing game analysis. I think he's just awesome. Big kudos to anyone that doesn't take himself seriously. I can't wake up so god damn early for GSL. I miss watching his commentary.
I think you may be basing your opinion of day9 off one dual-cast, he is pretty funtastic guy to watch :p
Anyway - don't feel the purpose of this thread is to start a who's better than who casting war
I like the list though - good compilation with some awesome resources there; i strongly recommend Mr Bitter, his 12 weeks with the pros stuff was amazing!
Matron needs more love dude! He is a very good caster and he even edits picture in picture in his videos in case there are 2 thing happening simultaneously and a recap at the end of his videos of the highlights of the match.
Hes putting more effort in his video than any other caster I've seen :/
Absolutely! These guys have provided me with hours of entertainment. Not your typical Starcraft Commentator. But, When Cheese Fails is a hilarious series of pure entertainment.

MaximusBlack and NovaWar ftw!
Except for the massive spamming they did on many many sc2 youtube vids comments to promote their channel.
DD Gaming TV has a ton of starcraft 2 casts on it, some are dual casts with the three VPGamers official casters. Majority of casts are done by VPnerski, co casters are Handfromabov and soon possibly Jonus former head of team insanity who has his own channel as well here.

You really think that the channels that are big now didn't do the same thing? Of course they did stop being hypocritical. Also When Husky asked them to stop, they did. They made nice with the casters they offended along time ago.
I couldn't help but notice that I wasn't on your list! Please add me, I know I'm the new cat on the scene, but I think I deserve a spot on yer massive list of awesomeness.
I miss Cricket Starcraft on this list. He does Zerg play mostly and is a Zerg player himself. Starts almost all his videos with a guitar solo/riff played by himself.
Psy's older and less appreciated brother who plays master league random, well worth addition to the list. btw, Psy is probably the best non-Day9 caster!! giblets.
