It's the usual, everyone's gonna hate on the one guy trying to stick out or trying to do his own thing. Sadly, it's common human behaviour.
Anyhow, the song was great and really, when you think about it, if you're one of those who believe he only does this for money. Well, I bet he would've made a different song if that was the case... because I'm sure that most can agree with that this is a music genre that does not really appeal to the general gaming community.
The lyrics were of course the best part of this song (obviously)... and the boyband parody, of course... no actually, the best part was huskys fakebeard, it suits him in an odd way... :u
lol I love this. I love the outfits too. Husky in a goatee was pure win. I dont get how this comes off as 'gay' to some people. It's obviously boy band parody. Either way, bromance all the way!
Edit: just noticed the posts about 'deviating away' from whatever the heck he's supposed to be doing for money and fame. All i have to say about that is
....
Are we really going to put someone down for making money off of doing stuff for SC2? I mean really. In the end, what is a progamer. Yea they love what they do, but it's also a job. Commentating SC2 and doing stuff like this is Husky's full time job. The SC2 scene is more than just playing and watching games. Anything that is made to better our enjoyment of SC2 or made as a tribute to our fancraze of SC2, is just as important as everything else. A community has formed around SC2 and naturally a culture has formed around it too. This is part of that culture.
Omg i just don't like it . I love the HD the caster like i love artosis and tasteless , i just don't get why they act like the love mens , i mean THis video is pure rainbow flag and when tastosis are like: oh man i have a man crush on him , oh he is so handsome , i mean comon ... like they say on sunday night footballl... COMON MAN!
Haha this is great.. I wish people would Take this for what it is.. Just a bit of fun for Husky and co. I mean to bring that he is selling out etc is pretty hilarious to me.. It's a parody clip that is a little bit hilarious.. And it's sc2 related.. How is that not awesome?

Ya kidding? He does this because he loves the SC2 community. He could have spent the time and the budget just plowing out commentaries to pay the bills, not making charity songs.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
aaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaha
Oh do me a favour and lose the troll act, some of us have been doing it way longer than you and we're much better at it.
Do you know the guy? No. When was the last time you spoke to him? Are you employed by the same company? Are you aware of what he does on a daily basis? Do you know how much he earns? Do you know how much money he plows into making fun content for no personal gain?
None of the above, of course.
So sit the fuck down and stick to what you're good at.
Yeah, so I'm defending my friend. Deal with it.. I won't have you slandering his good name in public without recourse.
edit : Noted, removed.
sit the fuck down? lol shut up retard. he doesnt give a rats ass about the community beyond the fact that theyre making him rich despite the fact that he has absolutely 0 noticeable talents.
if the tlaf guy hadnt been desperate to throw money at the community, and husky hadnt gotten in between those 2, he would be a nothing right now. good for him for 'making it' but dont act like anything about the whole thing is for the good of the community.

His videos get front page on youtube > 600k+ people find starcraft and start watching his vods > esports that fund you. He even donated all the money for the baneling video to charity; 4.4 million veiws worth.
Lol, I lost it when I saw the sharpied on goatee (sp?) xD
The production value was great, and I HOPE husky makes a lot of money off it, he deserves it for the effort he put in. Same way Idra deserves cash for the effort he put in to sc2.
I find Hotbid's comments hilarious as he's talking about it's neither 0% or 100% whereas we have totalbiscuit and idra embodying both the 0% and the 100% in their posts.

I mean I see what you are saying.. And I'm not really siding either way but.. How does this song exactly draw people into a video game.. I mean maybe.. maybe.. the bling one.. but doubtful at best.. The core audience outside of SC2 fans that would like this would be teenage girls that like boybands? Not exactly what I would call your target audience..
Like I said earlier, it's helping the guy singing, other than the fact that he seems to get very little credit as most of the attention is being placed on Husky and not the talent.
