This right here is exactly what this thread should be about.
"nice name, your husband make it up?" - Beautiful.

Even then it should never work. It's easy to tell apart someone writing "has left the game!" in chat and a system message like "Player has left the game!".
I guess I'm expecting too much from people? Oh also that guy forgot half of it, he didn't tell you you were victorious.

I always thought it was because the hotkey for surrender in the pause menu and leave game at the victory screen was the same in WoL. So you write "has left the game!" -> hit pause -> pray he presses surrender.

It all began as a "bug". The good old, build one worker, build 1 cc outside of base, make it look like you never started mining (because there was no automine in SC II at the beginning), fly CC away, write "has left the game!" when your cc gets destroyed. Opponent now thinks it is a bug and thinks he won the game and nothing more is on the map, so he leaves the game.
Now you just try it with "has left the game!" and stop doing anything, hoping your enemy thinks you actually left and it is a bug that no victory screen shows up, so he leaves.
Its all about the "no victory screen 'bug' ".

Just tried for the fun of it, but it made me think that it looks hell of stupid to someone who has sc2 set to a different language than English :b

Yep that exactly it, my opponent had the game on pause, and then unpause and immediately wrote it so for a second I tough it was just a bug when you quit the game when in pause.

Its not even a "offensive gg". maybe you should re-read my initial post again. You will notice hes doing 99% of the talking.
Its really funny how you think im the one being bm...

Oh my god it's the return of Mr. Banpoints (page 375).
He speaks like the weirdest combination of Star Wars characters.

He speaks like the weirdest combination of Star Wars characters. i can understand him though. it's frustrating when people do allins despite the new rules that disallow them. Of course they get banpoints for doing that but you lose the ladderpoints anyway. at least he will get punished by the admins.

That's hilarious actually.

no screenshot, he just say "lucky noob" at the end but it was ridiculous.
He banebust me when my 3rd orbital was complete at 4:10, I had only 1 widowmine and few marines, not even wall at the natural and that widowmine kill half of his lings, then he detonated his banes in my cc and his bust was failed, then he continue to rush me with roach ravager, I had only 2 tankivacs and marines without stim, he almost kill my 3rd and when only 1 shot was needed to kill it, ravagers even made that last shot, I lift cc and save it, then tanks kill everything, I scan his 3rd and saw 3 spines and 3 spores right there, meanwhile he make transition into muta ling bane, but I scout it late and already have 20+ marauders during push, marines and tanks died and his banes and lings too, only mutas and marauders remained, they kill his 3rd, 2nd and main and gg.

You said "gg incoming" first, that´s super BM. It´s like saying: "You are about to lose, better leave" And Im sure his gg was meant ironic, cause he went on with his bm after that. Not to mention that his bm wasn´t even confusing or awesome. That was just generic all day rage. Just because he is doing 99% of the talk doesn´t make it good.
Maybe you should read your own post again.

Faced a guy called "Newbie", also known as "Mr. Banpoints" that sure gave me an experience in its own. Allined him and failed completely, then held with overcharge and won an all out mutalisk basetrade he did. This is what I read in the chat: "Tip, messages start from the bottom of the message log for some reason, but the pictures are in the right order."
