u do know that 5 phoenixes kill mutas really effectively right? oh yeah and +1 vikings beat +1 mutas HARD and 1 thor or marines and turrets... they are all great options to deal with mutas properly. but now how is zerg going to deal with air properly hydras are fucking terrible in every single way. if u see a zerg go hydras, storm or collosus will melt u so bad, extra queens u say? phoenix void ray anyone? I honestly think these are the worst patch changes i've ever seen and we are not going to see anything but protoss dominate for the next month bec zerg is never going to have a reliable scout and even if u scout them u cant react with much considering u only have 6 units to choose from.

Yes it is. Zergs complaining that in ZvZ you can't FG mutas to stop them. Well now they have to deal with Muta harass the same way us Toss and Terran do. Running frantically from base to base cursing at them.


True , but if we cant fungal them we cant kill them if they are not stupid to run over our hydras wich have no huge AA AOE , or teleporting superfast offcreep units

And we still have the worst AA static

This change is to make easier for Terran to defend themselves. I think its a good change, bunker take forever to build when you need it for defense.

Probably the same guy who suggested that barracks can't be built until the depot finishes because it was kind of imbalanced in TEAM GAMES I guess.

I am not talking about making additional queens each and every game. I am talking about if you scout a fast starport, or a double starport even. Or in our case, stargates. Queens are the best way to deal with early pheonix harass/void ray harass, as I have tested multiple times over the last few days (because goddamn those build pisses me off).


Yeah, thats an exception to the rule. If your opponent is going heavy air I'd agree, but I dont agree with making extra queens to heal mutalisks.

It's one of their many uses. That's like saying I wouldn't get extra medivacs JUST to drop. Well, likely not, but you'd get them to heal. Same thing, you get more creep, heal, and good anti air.


Except queens have range 3 and do like 8 dps and medivacs turn bio into badass killing machines

They take the same amount of time regardless and 2 rax all ins did NOT need a bunker buff so you could defend when someone crushed it.

I don't understand your and other zergs reasoning. Phoenix's deal with Muta harrass, but you forced us to make Phoenix's. Why are you avoiding Corruptors? We had to make Phoenix, but you don't have to make Corruptor like us? That's what I don't understand. You're completely avoiding the real strategy and trying to make it look like it's worse for you than it actually is.

You have to watch Kiwikaki vs Machine Root Warzone.

I think David Kim contacted a lot of zergs including catz root if they are having problem with mass vr with speed and if removing fungal and speed will compromize that.

In which Catz said : you remove fungal i quit the game

so i guess they just remove the fungal AA. lol

That's probably one of the legit sources zelniq is talking about.

Hmm. Some good things, and some not so good things. The infestor change affects my zergling infestor build, cause the whole point is that the infestor's fungal growth can detect cloaked banshees and hold them in place for infested terrans. And I'm gonna miss spamming a billion zerglings by holding down the z key. Ultra damage change is good though, and I'm excited to hear about the extreme graphics mode, because I remember reading an interview saying they really held back graphically on the game to increase playability. I'm also wondering what the unbuildable area at the bottom of ramps is gonna look like...

Splitting air is extremely hard in any case, harder than pulling off marine micro as the fungal radius massive. I can't even see it being very viable, however fancy you lose the majority of your phoenix if you run into an infestor. That's just how it is (well, was).
