Having some automatic thing like that would be silly.
Well they type it every game, seems automatic to me.
For me its just indication that game ended without any "technical" problems. Would be odd if opponent leaves without saying it then camera zooms to see if player had some problems which crashed or something.

We would be so confused by IdrA games with this option on.
"Apologize for playing that race." "gg."

are there any Toss left at this point?

Artosis claimg that TvP is toss favored, HopeTorture and Ensnare seem to disagree with that.

because the point is that a player takes the time to do it him self. its like the scripts in shooters that write something in to the chat if something specific happens. making it automatic would just make it loose all the meaning that a honest "gg" or "well playd" at the end of a game has. and to be honest, if i do not believe that it was a good game, i sure as hell do not want to write gg at the end of the game.

Cool is awesome I am rooting for him.

No man, it's not automatic or an indication of no technical troubles, it's about the players showing good sportsmanship when losing. If the computer does it for them then that defeats the whole purpose of it
EDIT: And most people do it because most people are good mannered.

Thats why give it option to enable automatic "gg" typing. Players who play GSL and BW pros has to type "gg" whether game is good or bad.

If you actually thought zerg was overly imbalanced you would be hoping for no zerg in the top 8 or top 16.. I don't think Cool winning would actually be good for zerg considering how closely blizzard is watching this particular tournament... As almost strictly a spectator for this game I don't have much to say about actual imbalance other than that it looks hard for zerg from an outside view... it's funny how zerg's "Fair" map is metalopolis, but I swear Ive seen them get beat on that map every time...
.. just thought I'd point this out... maybe Cool's plan is to 14 hatch in all 5 games in the finals and just get rolled over so bad by ITR that blizzard feels they have to fix zerg? Would be kind of funny if he likes zerg that much he'd be willing to give up that much $... obviously out of the question, but funny to think about ..
However, I don't think this one is actually gonna matter much in the grand scheme of things, GSL 2,3, and 4 are gonna be pretty epic though, lots of really good BW players switching over, and lots of players that might have got unlucky in their GSL 1 qualifiers.... could you imagine being the guy who has to play someone like say from TSL , tester maybe, to make it in to the RO64 ... even if that person is top 8 material, not gonna make it that far... That's what sucks about the first few tournaments of a game, there are no seedings, way to place people into the tournament, so it's a real free for all to get in. Look at some of skill disparities in the gsl ro64.. Im sure in time were gonna see much much closer games in the ro64 and ro32 cause more really good players are gonna be able to make it in through the qualifiers
I also like how b05 is gonna be played through ro16 if I read that correctly, maybe it's ro8.... Im a fan of finding the best player and of a good back and forth series.. this is a great bonus from a spectator's point of view
Overall, really enjoying this tournament so far, and Im hoping for Cool vs ITR finals :D

No protoss in semi, 3 terran and 1 zerg.

I'm pretty sure that Cool is gonna run over liveforever, but facing either ensnare or ITR in the finals is just terrifying. They both have amazingly good TvZ.

I badly want to say that the Zealot nerf hurt Toss too badly, but I haven't seen the games yet.

Wow, this reaffirms that InCa is a great guy, for me at least. I bet all those people posting page after page after page of hate towards him for the "BM" in the live report thread are feeling preeettty silly right about now. Huh, are you silly yourself? That basically is admitting that he intentionally didn't GG

I was hoping/expecting to see a Rainbow Maka finals , I guess now it'd more likely be Rainbow Cool , which would be pretty cool. But I was really quite amazed at how Rainbow totally crused Tester.

I would honestly say the nerf wasn't so big of a deal on the TvP games, because those needed more sentries.
It probably did hurt Inca though, against the lings.

If he thinks it's not a good game , then he doesnt need to type out good game in the game itself. Him directly talking to the opponent after the match and explaining why is good enough I don't know why ppl take typing out gg so seriously. It wasn't a good game to play in , and it wasn't really that good a game to watch either , a 6 pool and a baneling bust.
