I know there was a thread on this way back during the beta, but with the +5 seconds warpgate cooldown, would it now be more reasonable to switch between warpgate and gateway alternating???

I think the facepalm was that tanks do the same amount to armored meaning that tanks vs marauders and tanks would be unchanged

I would assume a bunch of bug fixes and if Blizzard holds true to form some ninja nerfs/buffs that they don't list.

The Zealot nerf doesn't make much difference in ZvT. The Reaper nerf helps Protoss with their Stalker though. It's still sad that Protoss HAVE to tech straight to Stalker but hopefully early Reaper rush will fall out of favor with this patch... in which case the Zealot nerf may actually matter. This should make PvP more interesting and PvZ better for the Zerg.

Siege Tanks getting nerfed is good. Terran still have alot of other viable units to support them so they only difference may be 1 or 2 less tanks in a push in favor of some other unit. BC's are like the GG unit, so they deserved a nerf. They really were an all around amazing unit for the price tag.

The Zerg change is more or less a buff in breaking down walls and a small nerf in killing units.

I'm optimistic atleast.

In ZvZ you can defend a 6pool with a 13 pool easily using just your drones, you even have to kill a spine crawler before it can be completed. What is so different between 6pooling in ZvZ and ZvP, can't protoss just use probes to kill the zerglings while a zealot finishes production?

You could lose probably have your probes and still be in an economical advantage, anyone care to explain this?

True but I feel like the non shotting marines might be useful if you want to either try to get a snipe in or use the marines as shields to get your tanks much closer. But with the viking spotting anyway this shouldn't really that big of a deal. It'll make a difference but I still feel like it won't be too much unless you really get marines everywhere or in extremely large numbers

Pure marines, yes. But MMM balls should be more viable. Marauders were pretty good against Tanks to begin with. Now marines will make them even better.

MMM is already a viable strategy in TvT, FYI.

The tank damage change is probably the single best change blizzard has made since the beginning of beta. kudos Blizz.

Now we just need to take stim away from marauders and remove the banshee from the game hehe. Down with Terrans!!!

I wouldn't count on it. Just like marines are trash against colossus, marines are still trash against tanks.

on steppes a 10 gate gets a zealot out in time, and you could conceivably wall off with a pylon on 14 and get the zealot out straight when the gate is done, but it will be 5 seconds late obviously. On scrap station well i guess just downvote that shit. Also i love how protoss is just now supposed to allow a zerg to fe and get lings out, so every pvz on is either a 6pool or a fast expand as protoss which, unless your high level, isnt the easiest thing to hold when the other guy goes speedlings.
