Lots to discuss as always. Might be done a bit later as we may be juggling ret's match as well as the cast. But there WILL be a sotg!
Please make fun of Artosis in tonights cast hes getting on my nerves with his bias commentary in GSL. <3 /B/rotoss fighting.....

Talk about the state of TvZ.
I wan't to hear PainUser tell IdrA to make more ultralisks to counter marine/scv :D

So stoked for this one! Painuser and IdrA are both super-funny.

As a Protoss player mainly, the fact that TvZ gets the majority of the spotlight lately is quite annoying and useless to me.

Lol, Idra and Painuser, excellent.

How about just go through some topics in the SC2 section and put your thought on it? I always love to hear what you guys have to say on different subjects
Yea I think this would be a good idea maybe just choosing like a thread of the week or something from TL and everyone maybe give there thoughts on it. Say one from the Starcraft 2 general section. I do enjoy hearing Tylers thoughts on different subjects the most. He seems to look at everything objectively which I like example his thoughts on the brackets. Anyway great podcasts as always.

I'd like to hear NO discussion to the possibility of war, but perhaps some inside statements without any comments on it

Although at the same time since there is such a huge spotlight on TvZ right now, I don't mind educating myself a little. I just hope the metagame shifts out of these 7-8 minute games.

Hm, as a spectator Ive found that sotg actually caters much more heavily to P than Z/T, which is only natural because 2.667 / 4 of the "pillars" are Protoss. I'd like to hear more about tvz tbh, especially with the recent metagame seen in the gsl

I don't think there's anything new to say. I haven't really seen a shift in styles from zerg or protoss when they play each other for some time. I'm not saying they shouldn't talk about it, but I don't really expect to hear anything new if they do.
|
You know, after seeing the void ray -> blink stalker attack, the cannon thing and a couple of other ways to mess with Zerg seriously, my PvZ has improved considerably, I no longer lose instantly when I meet my own level zerg! My point is, day after day I feel more and more that PvZ might just be fine, and that it's just protosses lack of....experience that prevents them from winning.
Like person above me said, it's Terran vs Zerg where most of miracle action happened in GSL this week. The "air terran" thing, terran all-in marine+SCV rush vs 14 hatch etc. Lost of things to talk about there, protoss in GSL have not really showed anything...miraclous and revolutionary that may change the ladder metagame.

Ask IdrA what they're saying in Korea about North Korea's recent shelling South Korea and the South promising retaliation if the shelling starts again. Tensions are apparently the highest they've been in years. Would IdrA leave if war broke out and what would this do to the progaming scene?
|
There needs to be a separate discussion on Artosis' hair tonight.
And ask Idra about the possibility of facing MVP in ro32.
|
While IdrA lives in Korea he's not a Korean, I don't think it's really appropriate to be spending a bunch of time on a political/foreign policy topic on a Starcraft podcast. There's plenty of SC2 related topics already (GSL3, Dreamhack oGs/brackets, EG Masters Cup, Artosis' hair).

It's pretty obvious what a war would do the progaming scene - Seul could potentially be leveled in a matter of days.. And I mean completely leveled.. Thousands and thousands of artillery positions in NK is in reach of Seul, many of which are really hard to take out
Even though it sucks, we can't worry about the potential shut down of E-sports, think about the millions of people living in Korea whose lives will be affected..
In my oppinion, it just isn't right to feature on a podcast like SotG - Even though I'm sure that InControL could do plenty of jokes on how Jaedong or Flash could run circles around the entire NK-army, it just isn't right. I hope you guys don't go there.
Much love <3
