No, IdrA is a fighter.

Everyone on the planet talks about TvZ, though. I would much rather hear about PvP, PvZ, or even ZvZ than TvZ. TvZ seems like a lot of Terrans being all-in all the time because they think they can't compete with Zerg mid-lategame. That's not interesting to talk about.

That's my essential problem with the matchup and talking about it; it's exceedingly boring. All-ins are not fun to analyze. The only thing they could talk about is WHY this is going on, which would lead to a lot of theorycraft about TvZ lategame with more PainUser comments about DPS+Health/Cost and IdrA laughing snidely in his corner.

If north korea invaded the south im sure at least the japanease would help and probably the rest of the g20 tbh.

Also the last cast was a little short at ~3 hours, can you push it up to 4 hours at least, I have a long roadtrip to make tomorrow :D

Lots to discuss as always. Might be done a bit later as we may be juggling ret's match as well as the cast. But there WILL be a sotg! Please make fun of Artosis in tonights cast hes getting on my nerves with his bias commentary in GSL. <3 /B/rotoss fighting.....
I agree but rather than making fun of his bias commentary, talk about the new dew he's rockin

It is Interesting to talk about because lots of terrans have difficulty competing with zerg late game and it isn't because all zergs are better. There is a reason why lots of terrans are doing all-ins and it's because it's a constant uphill battle if the zerg gets their 14 hatch up. zerg cant expect to go unpunished everytime for going 14 hatch just as a terran wouldn't for expanding that early.
Happy to hear that painuser and idra will both be on. Can't wait for the next podcast

Yeah, I wanna hear Tyler rip Tester's build and then call Nada a noob for not EMPing the phoenixes.

Gogogogo :D

Tyler has never failed to qualify for GSL, tester has a 33% succes rate. Clearly Tyler is better!

I don't think it has anything to do with whether or not terrans can or can't compete late game or not, it's more just the matchup working itself out. Either the attacks will work more often then not forcing pool before hatch, or the zergs will hold more often then not and will keep their hatch before pool so the terrans won't attempt to go all in.
Think of it like a protoss expanding before a gateway, or a terran before a barracks, getting punished by a six pool. It's not because the zerg thinks he can't compete in a macro game, it's that the 6 pool forces no super-fast expansions in those match ups so no one does them.

This is Idras reaction to being attacked by north korea

Should be the 5 pillars. Add Idra as a permanent fixture! He adds such nice contrast to the group.

also, i cant tell if painuser is trying to be retarded by saying he would rather have a dt over a banshee. i have a hard time believing he was trying to be stupid because he was so good at it. he basically brushed off every single argument of protoss units being underpowered by saying they were "bad ass." yeah terran does have a problem with ground to armored air but i feel its not a problem because they have the absolute best air to armored air that can be reactored out.

When is the new episode coming out?
|
from twitter:
# IdrA will be our fourth and final guest tonight
# T Pain confirmed now. Probably be a lighter cast this week in terms of content. Gimme some ideas for content! about 2 hours ago via web
# Day[9] and Tyler will not be on this weeks cast due to Dreamhack. I haven't filled the other spots yet, so just me and Geoff right now.

Has Idra practiced with the Team Liquid members in Korea? Can he comment on how often/ what kind of practice he does with them, if any.
