I'd be willing to bet that it's mainly Terran players making a big deal out of how SOTG addressed TvZ. Like honestly, how butthurt about your race do you have to be to come in here and try to draw negative attention to SOTG over this? And I say this as a Terran player. And the most hilarious thing is whenever I see people like Avilo, Incontrol and others come in and chime on balance pertaining to their race we get armchair-pros talk back and say, because they are bad, unaccomplished or whatever, their imput should be thrown out the window simply because they don't have the results of MVP. In fact even people were saying MVP is now just a "balance whiner" based on his ro32. Of course these same people turn around and in LR threads, strategy threads, balance discussion threads will complain and whine and bitch about how underpowered/overpowered each race is. This community is so full of hypocrits it's sickening. Some parting advice for everyone who hates this show so much, thinks it has gone downhill, or has whatever negative feelings towards all the hosts: stop watching and stop shitting up this thread. The people on SotG will thank you and so will people like I who wish to read this thread without every post sounding like a kids first tantrum.

I mean, saying Avilo doesn't deserve to be on the show because he isn't skilled enough or because he whines too much is just hilarious considering the show's regular hosts. Okay, maybe their skills are even. Nony and Incontrol though have the added benefit of being former Broodwar pros and being on major influential teams. IdrA has the benefit of being far more talented and having trained extensively in Korea. Even if Nony and Incontrol don't have results they actually have stuff to bring to the table. All Avilo has shown that he can bring to the table is nonstop Terran tears. He may be right this times, but even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then. You really think the guy who didn't know how much vikings cost until last December would be an even host with Incontrol, Nony, or IdrA?

What does SotG think of tournaments that span across multiple months or at least one month? With the exception TSL, every tournament outside of Korea is finished in three days. The nice thing about the TSL is allows room for stories to grow, and the matches are significantly more important this way, but the problem is Dreamhack/MLG can't really host tournaments like this. What's your guys thoughts on this and do you think there could be a tournament created to support this at all?

Now, the more important questions are. Do they care? Are they interested in correcting that reputation? If so, how? if the answer to all of those is No, I feel that's more telling than anything being discussed here. If the purpose of the show is to bring in and discuss news from around the SC2 scene, they obviously don't want to come off as being biased against a particular race. Since that's what they're being accused of it stands to reason to me, that they'll do something in the future to correct if they care. And if they don't should they really be taken seriously at all then? Things to ponder.

Why do you think skill is the main factor to be on the show? Inc, nony, idra and all the other pillars are personalities in the scene. I'm a little upset there wasn't a terran on and how they didn't discuss the tvz issue, but these guys literally make the show and is overall the main reason I watch. Not to mention they've proven themselves in brood war. Results don't have to translate into knowledge. Artosis is a prime example.

How many days does the real tournament take? And once Hero beats his Ro4 opponent how long does he have to prepare for the other finalist? I like NASL, but the important part is done in a few days.

I like NASL, but the important part is done in a few days. Not at all. NASL is on for weeks, and there are significant storylines, paths, and comebacks that emerge if you follow players. Obviously the last round or two will finish in a few days, but the season lasts a much longer time. NASL and the GSL are the closest two things you have to regular equivalents of OSLs/ MSLs of BW (as far as preparation and length go... obviously NASL is a lot less prestigious than GSL). The TSL is also similar, but this is only the second SC2 TSL, so it's quite rare.

I doubt anyone would have been mad if they said something like "To have an objective discussion about the current TvZ issues we feel it'd be better to have someone with first hand experience on the show who can represent the terran side of the argument. As none of the terran players we've worked with in the past and/or we feel fits in is currently available we'll try to get qxc/thorzain/demuslin/whoever on the next episode and talk it through." Btw, as it gets very little attention due to the TvZ shitstorm in this thread. Thanks for bringing on Azael. What he brought up about GESL (ddos and phonecalls to players/fans) was pretty interesting and super sad to hear :/

Next time you find yourself whining, think about what exactly YOU have done for this community. Thank you for your attention, me. PS: Keep it up JP. Yeah cause creating a Terran hating community that thinks the current comic state of ZvT where better players than them all agree is broken is really wonderful. I loved TvZ pre patch, easily the best match up. Exciting, back and forth, both sides with a chance to win. Now it's Z makes 4 + queens, creeps entire map by 10 mins, crushes Ts pathetic push and then we sit around and wait for gg. I have been watching SC2 on streams etc since it came out, cba anymore. Why blizz felt like they needed to destroy the best match up in the game to watch beggars belief.

Can I remind you that this is a panel show featuring guys with a bunch of opinions that talk shit and sometimes discuss Starcraft? Complaining that it's biased is like complaining that Politically Incorrect is biased.

For some reason people mistake SotG for some kind of ultimate authority on StarCraft. It's just a bunch of smart and handsome StarCraft players/personalities casually getting together and shooting the shit on StarCraft related stuff. Personally, that's why I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. They're not obligated to cover anything, solve any issue or talk about anything they don't feel like talking about. People need to treat the show less like the official senate of StarCraft and more like a few friends hanging out.

People act like if SOTG is actually Blizzard's balance team, and if they don't get a terran on there they'll just keep on nerfing them. Just like...shut up. You don't need a terran to talk about how terran is doing, I mean it'd help to get the expertise but if you don't have a terran on the show it's insane to avoid talking about one of the three races in the game. 'Oh so guys there were no terran in the Ro8 at Dreamhack, but obviously we can't offer an opinion on that so we'll move onto the next GSL groups...ah Taeja and Ryung are playing so we can't really talk about how they'll do...ummm...'
