Incontrol than again challenges Avilo for a normal P(Inc)vT(avilo) judge for yourself. I think Incontrol should just change the rules like Avilo did and demand a minesweeper battle to see who is better in sc2. It's the only logical thing.
I thought the whole idea of the challenge was to prove that Incontrol knows little about terran... since after all, the common consensus was the SoTG doesn't need a terran PoV and incontrol sort agreed with it.

I'm gonna go ahead and use this thread for what I assume it was intended for, feedback.
I gotta say lately my interest for SotG has been dropping some. I don't really know what it is, I'm gonna try to explore it in the following though. Also let me preface that I understand the show in it's nature is about some community figures talking about whatever the hell they wish to talk about, I'm just giving my thoughts as to how I think would the show could become even more enjoyable from my p.o.v..
First of all, I think the recaps of tournaments has gotten too much emphasis. While hearing the hosts talk about the different storylines can be compelling, I feel it has gotten to the point where things are getting discussed with little substance. Now by lack of substance I'm not talking about the bantering/back-and-forths and jokes, those are (imo) essential to the show and pretty much makes it what it is. I'm more talking about the "yeah he did good..." dialogues that I feel has occurred more often in this year of SotG.
Also I think the show is running a thin line in it's coverage of player/caster problems issues. Talking about issues facing players at events (such as discussing the player area and how well this and that event treated the players) may be getting too much airtime. I'm not neccessarily saying it has crossed the line yet, but stuff like what was discussed last show (in fairness it didn't take up a lot of time) may suit better as a blog (like the one Greg wrote and referenced) or as feedback directly to the organizers. This may be a way of forcing the organizers to cooperate and if so it's valid, but I would think the organizers are reasonable people who will act on concerns from it's player-pool right?
I think having five pillars who are slated to appear on every show makes the show lack in variation. Especially when Day[9] was a pillar as well I felt like we were seeing too much of the same faces every show. I thoroughly enjoyed the show when you had Darkforce, Socke and Qxc on, as it was a breath of fresh air where we got to hear some of the thoughts regarding the scene from other notable community figures. Having different guests on every week really excites me. You have been doing that lately so I'd just like to say keep doing it, and perhaps this only comes up because I didn't really enjoy Azael as a guest (no offense I'm sure you're a swell guy and everything). and so I felt this episode lacked it somewhat (Idra is like the (sixth?) wheel/pillar by now anyways).
All of this drama for this week's show I find quite ridiculous, but I would just like to say be careful how you talk about people, you do have some influence and goofy/half-witted comments you make can have a considerable impact on a person's career blabla yadidadida you all probably know this (or you don't care).
Finally, I would strongly impose you to start up with user-submitted-questions again. Why you are not doing that and making a lot of room for it in your show never cease to amaze me (in a negative manner).
So there you have it, my feedback for SotG this time around. If I come up with anything else I'll make sure to add it in this thread to hopefully somewhat water down all the negativity and trolling going on. I find the hopes of this getting a response as opposed to what a trolling self could have produced quite sparse though I must say. Not that I'm baiting for a response, I just felt like commenting on the fact that 90% of all posts the pillars decide to respond to are trolls with bad reasoning and non-constructive feedback. I don't really get that, I thought one was suppose to ignore trolls
I hope you have fun making the shows, I'll be sure to tune in, despite the fact that I might not find it as awesome as I once did

I am 10x the player that avilo is.. . You are not. And if as you admitted your terran is horrible & barely diamond then you should stop saying you know better than 99.9% of the players about the race. Because you don't. Having seen iNcontroL play Terran at PAX vs tons of random people... he's at least master level TvZ and TvP. His micro isn't particularly crisp but his macro is probably better than it is when he plays P... he's too used to BW Protoss macro mechanics I think. There're also numerous records of him playing Terran at master+ level in his twitch tv account's vods... he coaches master level Terran players all the time... Or you could just watch Avilo's stream... and laugh hysterically as he trash talks players while losing to them... EDIT: For anyone who REALLY wants a laugh, check out his Liquipedia entry... "Avilo was inspired by SlayerSBoxeR and he enjoys defensive macro games" LOL I dont think he is masters. I watched him offrace with his fans on stream (who were also offracing). he offraced terran vs a top diamond protoss who off-raced zerg. He got crushed, wasn't even close. Afterwards he went on about how his terran was terrible & how he should have meched.

It's ok guys.. he saw me lose a game once with Terran so clearly that means herp derp I am so bad with terran I couldn't get masters or speak on behalf of terran meta game/skill etc..
HE DID THE MATH!

I thought the whole controversy was about the fact that there is no terran on sotg, not about some rivalry between incontrol and avilo.

I'm guessing Pestenoire = Avilo?

Was the original thing chat people got mad about... then avilo invented a rivalry. This all should be moved to a different thread that can subsequently be closed. Isn't this a SoTG thread?
I non-trollingly liked throwing in Azael, never knew he existed until recently.

Yup, it was pretty unprofessional

They just laughed the TvZ issue aside because they're disgustingly biased. Everyone wanted a legitimate discussion about the current state of TvZ but instead they just called Terrans naturally weak and idiotic.

When you look at it this way It's pretty hard to deny there's a problem...

Why would you think that artosis or incontrol are biased in a tvz discussion? It makes absolutely zero sense.

I thought the last episode was good. Interest and enjoyment of the show still at 100%.

Artosis started out as zerg in SC2 and has shown bias against Terran dating back to doing his imbalance show with Idra way back in Korea. He has hated the marauder and he and Greg hated Terran from early on when Terran was the OP race. Its like they have a deeply rooted hatred for Terran as a result of the race being OP for the first portion of the games release.

Or they are just saying the same sorts of things that other players (terran/protoss/zerg) have said when their respective races have struggled. People who complain about balance (even with valid points) get made fun of by people who aren't struggling with race issues? STOP THE PRESSES.

Convenient to continue to use community laughing stock Avilo as a scape goat? Why would Avilo make an alt account? He has never been shy about letting his feelings known. I only made a post about the truth, but keep calling Avilo out like that because it makes you feel like a top pro, which you aren't.

I'm not sure that the GSL stats are good to interpret .. I mean, they are few but incredibly good zerg (like DRG), and a lot and not as good as them of Terran... So... I prefer not making conclusion about the TvZ's stat in GSL... Even though i'm Terran..
