Even if that account were proven to be avilo the fact that avilo has a tendancy to balance whine does not mean his points are not worth addressing when presented as such.
Personally i feel that many members of SOTG feel that Terrans deserve the current state of TvZ(due to the early state of TvX) and thus are willing to continue their parroting act (wait for the metagame to settle). Sometimes I feel they forget that the Terran star only started to dim because of nerfs to Terran forcing Terran to relearn strats (over and over might I add). I hope they get get QXC or other prominent Terrans to fill in the gaping whole that is the Terran perspective (as a side note I don't think Avilo would be of the proper caliber to fill this slot).
Despite the Anti-Terran tint of the TvZ discussion I look forward to the next SOTG.

You know, after reading through some of this recent shitfest (couldn't make it through all of it), I was wondering, why don't they invite someone like Merz or Demuslim on the show. Both are very talented Terrans that are generally well-liked by the community and would present a more Terran-biased view point to balance out the current heavily biased zerg and protoss view points of the show. And let's face it, while these guys can talk competently about Terrans, they're in no way biased for terrans but against them.

I never have even seen you play Terran. But when you do talk about Terran you don't know what's actually going on with it, I don't know how you can legitimately say you can talk from a Terran perspec No one on the show was...because they're all talking from a P/Z perspective. It was made worse when you guys then downplayed stuff like TvZ and essentially said all Terrans were bad, etc.
We're being off-topic at this point, I only called out SOTG/offered to give insight for a few minutes on call because you guys weren't going to find a Terran and I do happen to be someone that was there that could have easily added to the discussion from a Terran perspective that was sorely lacking. I only was tweaking your nose with the "me finishing further than you in WCS" because we both know that does not really matter all that much.

So what is so wrong about that post that it doesn't even warrant discussion? No one has been able to answer that. Why couldn't any of the hosts play devil's advocate? I don't think anyone is really against it, it's just that most people don't think it's a big issue. There was one guy on the show that might be biased in a TvZ, and no one really takes his balance complaints seriously. (not even me as a fan :D)

I love SoTG, I've been listening to the podcasts since forever and they always light up my week and makes doing boring shit easier as I can listen to it meanwhile doing whatever I have to do. But as a terran I can definitely understand Avilo's point in this thread, because listening to this episode talking about the balance was kind of infuriating as a terran player, as it was basically a 10 minute anti terran circeljerk going on from around 1:18. I mean, I'm not really sure to be amused or not when there is made broad generalizations about how all or most terran players do, basically that terran players are whiny, uninovative and have always been overpowered, seemingly implying people playing protoss and zerg are per general better players and thus any imbalance against terran would only be caused by terrans simply being bad at doing new stuff.
I mean, I still though it was kind of entertaining, but not more giving to get a good picture of the overall balance of the game than the discussion that happens when me and my protoss budy at the same level of me discuss zerg without any zerg player.

No, no of course. Obv a personality that would be interesting or at least not over-bearing would be good. I'm a big fan of Gretorp or Demu being on the show. Or QxC. Heck, even Avilo. He's a reasonable person; you can't just take his stream rants out of context and think he's gonna bludgeon people with his opinion live...
EDIT: Heck, why doesn't JP speak out about balance? He's Masters Random, he probably has a better T perspective than the other two.

Cuz to be honest, I don't really care. Hell, I don't even watch SC2 much. Why don't you go petition it? I mean, it must be more useful than being a condescending asshole day right? Better yet, why not just ask JP to do it? It's his show anyway.
