Your worst FML moment in sc2? - Page 60

So they charged our base, the wall would hold them for a bit and hopefully our tanks would do most of the work. Turns out I left a supply depot down -.-' Our tanks didn't last a second FML | ||

At the 10 minute mark or so I notice my brotoss sharing my ramp did a good job of helping me wall off, but for some reason just started his cyber core. Alright, it's a 4v4 whatever, but then he proceeds to take the easily protected expansion, which I would have liked, but again whatever. After blink is done I poke out and almost break one of the opponent's ramps, but my allies weren't helping so I got repelled. At this point I can't do anything except try and do as much damage as I can, but my allies were turtleing and didn't seem to want to do that. (I had blink stalker's... that's not something you turtle with) Long story short, I lose all my stalkers stupidly while trying to take one of the more exposed expansions for myself. I eventually just build a dark shrine and eek out 2 DTs before completely running out of money (I tried twice more to take and expansion I think...) I'm dead. My allies have not done anything this whole game. FML But that's not all! To counter the mass void rays of my opponent, one of my terran allies goes mass Viking... and then attacks with them. He kills the void rays, and flies into the opponents base to do who knows what. He kinda lets them sit there while he's doing something else (I had no control, because we didn't speak the same language) Meanwhile I'm just kinda watching as banelings roll in and bury themselves underneath the vikings. As stalkers come to take out the vikings, Instead of flying away, my ally lands them, thinking that a Gatling gun would actually do something to stalkers. On top of all the burrowed banelings. It's super effective. I loled. But still FML why do my partners suck so bad? | ||

I threw down my robo facility and chrono'd my first observer, which I always send directly to the opponent's base, or occasionally their natural, to do the usual scouting. I see a Dark Shrine, but don't really think to recall my Observer, or cancel my Immortal which I was also Chrono boosting (it was 80% done). Cue 4 gate (mixed with) DT push from opponent. I manage to get cannons and another observer up while microing my probes away from his DTs, and simultaneously warping in stalkers and sentries to deal with his other units, but only before losing half my probes and losing the game due to lack of response. Had I brought the first observer with my army, the game would have been mine easily. FML | ||

How about twice in ZvZ I've killed my opponents natural around the 6 minute mark and lost my force to a forest of spine crawlers. Then my opponent makes 500 mutalisks and wins. And wins. And wins. | ||

also, all of the times that my music has been too loud for me to hear 'your probes are under attack' from a drop or muta/banshee/phoenix harass qualifies | ||

Lets see... Biggest FML I can recall is on Slag Pits close positions, ZvT. I was doing spanishiwa, and I held off his first push handily, and he ran back to his base to regroup. I then proceed to continue to drone up and wait for the next push. When the push comes, i quickly hit 4-s-z, or so i think. apparently my mind wanted to make overlords instead. My macro sucked this game, so i had tons of minerals. Every larvae used for overlords. I proceed to get ready for his push, not conciously realising I just made lots of ovies instead of lings. the back of my mind i was going "did I hit z? I think i did, or was it v?" of course when they popped into existance i knew which one I did. Had they been lings I would have held the push. Another ZvT I am macroing away. I had taken my 16 hatch and had it up and running. I was short on larvae around the 22-24 supply and my money was high. I had been trying to build queens but it was still greyed out. Looking around I hadn't built a spawning pool! I went on to win that game though, so 22 pool works well apparently o_O Not me, but my opponent the other day, I was harassing his barracks SCV (we'll name him George) with my drone (we'll name her Lisa). George finishes the rax and goes back to mine with Lisa in hot persuit, her little claws snapping at his heels. He starts mining and drone Lisa comes up behind and starts pinching with the claws, nibbling away. George moves away with the blue crystal and Lisa sees the other SCV's break off from their job and start moving. She starts backing up, but wait, they aren't going after her! They surround poor George, blocking him from view and a second later a small explosion comes from the middle. Lisa goes o_O and watches as the other SCV's go back to mining, leaving the smoldering remains of George on the ground. She then giggles and decides to leave, slipping past the marine and laughs all the way home! | ||

Forgot to cancel and well... they finished. But it turned out to work in my favour, when I raged and just drone rushed. So all in all, the biggest FML moment as well as the most epic micro I have ever done. | ||
