Woah, has this been here before?

If not... well this is a pretty neat feature. One of the major flaws in WC3 was that you could manage clickable/active items by keyboard, you had to manually click on them to activate.
Too bad you're not allowed to change them from the default key(?)

Yes it has been there before.

I am guessing that it is for the single player campaign.

The hydralisk can carry makeup in its purse, on use the makeup gives the hydralisk 1+ armor.

Remember special items that workers could carry in sc1 and BW? Maybe referencing that sort of thing.
Edit: fixed typo

I actually didn't know that there were going to be hero units in the campaign, to hear that there will be makes me even more excited to play through it. I never really liked hero units in multi-player (in WC3 of course) but loved them in the single player mode, much better to play as a character then some nameless general, in my opinion anyway.

This confused me. In WC3, you could use the numpad to activate items.

not true.... you can activate the num block and 124578 will be the inventory. Also wc3 has a custom keys file you can modify legaly.

I'm almost certain that the left six keys on the numpad (1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8) corresponded to the inventory slots of the unit you had selected. I remember trying to use this in DotA, but mostly failing because the keys were so out of the way compared to other hotkeys. It looks the big difference is that since the inventory is no longer in a 2x3 grid, there's no reason to correspond the key bindings by location anymore, so they can just start from 0 and count up.

Hey, np. I never used the numpad in WC3 though because it's just too far away from the other hotkeys.
