Battle.Net Status Locked

I've been having this problem with my account for a few days ... it started right after patch 12.1 and won't let me join any game telling me my status is locked. I've tried

-Restarting comp
-Logging out/back in
-Logging in a friend's account from my comp
-Logging out and shutting down comp for 24 hrs
-Complete re-install, manually dl patches

Ran out of ideas, I am about to just re-install korean client and play there for the rest of the beta ...

Thoughts?

go to your battle.net account on the web site... you may have been banned?

I don't think so I did nothing wrong, and my friend's account wouldn't even work for me when I logged in so it doesn't make sense.

Or maybe they just mistook your nick from this to "the-rapist" and decided to censor it.

I just realized my friend's account is "virginender" ... looks like we were both banned. This sucks.

Yeah that would be my guess, they seem to be pretty hard on such things currently. When the game goes retail you may have more luck slipping though the cracks.

I think these account locks are part of the beta test. I seriously doubt blizzard actually cares about inapropriate names on these temporary accounts. They just needed an excuse to work out the kinks for future bnet account locks for when the game goes live with paying customers

Well you can "report abuse" and under that there's an inappropriate name option.

maybe they do care about inappropriate names AND want to try out account locking procedures

I can't really defend your friend here but if your nick was therapist and they mistook it for "the rapist" that's pretty daft. Is there some sort of appeal you can make?

it happened to me. It's a bug, possibly caused by some kind of cache information on the server end. My theory is that it thinks you are already in a game or something similar and therefor does not give you access to performing certain functions. I tried everything you have done, and the only thing that fixed it for me was logging out correctly, closing the program and waiting 1-2 days. I have had a friend with the same problem, I told them to do this, and it also worked for them.

TelecOm1 was kind enough to give me an unused euro account ... I logged on created a different name and tried to join a custom ... status LOCKED again, and I play on usa. This makes absolutely no sense.
