Sorry if this was stated earlier in the thread I belive i can answer that Open start->all programs find the folder named startup right click it and than open paste a shortcut from your program there and should work. You can also check if it's added using windows+R key( for run) and type msconfig and go to the startup tab it should be in the list and checked

Thanks a lot, good idea
Dakota: Thanks for this awesome program, you obviously put a great deal of work into it and the quality of the program definitely shows!

Sc2gears 2.10: Speed up analysis and search!
Details are in the first post.

Hey.
I have 2 problems with Sc2gears.
First, it will still put R as race for random instead of the actual race.
Second, it will lose settings on every reboot - everything goes back to default. This pretty much makes it unusable to me, because I can't really be bothered to set the automatic replay naming EVERY time I boot up my system. This is on Win7 x64.

/Max Where did you extract Sc2gears to?
If it is inside Program files for example, that can be a problem because normal users don't have write access to that folder, so if you run Sc2gears with a normal user, it will not be able to save settings and everything else.
Try to extract Sc2gears to a "neutral" folder, for example "C:\utilities\Sc2gears".
Do you have version 2.10? I just tried, renaming replays puts the final race into the names, not random. Random will only appear in the names, if you have a yet-unsupported locale of StarCraft 2, and Sc2gears is not able to parse the localized race names from your replays. What is the language of your StarCraft 2? If the problem still exists, please send me an example replay where it puts random in the name when renaming.

Hey there.
The bug with race was in 2.00, where you claimed is was fixed, too. It seems to be fine in 2.10 now.
I fixed the bugs with settings by running the app as administrator by default (compatibility settings), though it was in a normal folder, so it should have worked normally.
Are there any plans to have different auto-name schemes for team games as opposed to 1v1?

Then maybe your problem was that you created the folder as administrator, and later you tried to run it as normal user.
No current plans for game type-specific templates, but have you checked the new Player info block symbol introduced in 2.10? Maybe that can do what you want. It substitutes all players grouped by teams.
For example if you provide a template of "</p(/r)> on /m./e" and apply it for example on 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, FFA games, it will result in:
lalush(Z) vs HuK(P) on Blistering Sands.SC2Replay SCIIGears(Z), Strategy(P) vs MaRTe(T), Sanguine(P) on Monlyth Ridge.SC2Replay Crisis(T), Walkyr(T), Myuk(P), CarmineLPT(T) vs Engager(Z), KeL(Z), Oblion(T), Gildegaar(P) on Megaton.SC2Replay Fortune(P) vs Player 2(P) vs Player 3(P) vs Player 4(P) vs Player 5(P) vs Player 6(P) vs Player 7(P) vs Player 8(P) on High Ground.SC2Replay

Thanks for the tool, been really useful. A problem surfaced for me since 2.00 though, was hoping it'd be fixed by 2.10 but hasn't. When doing a multi-replay analysis I cant open the first player(me) for more details but I can open all the other players. Any ideas how to fix that?

Send me the logs of Sc2gears and I'll take a look. Logs are located in "User content/Logs" inside Sc2gears.

What about different date formats? It doesn't use my OS locale, so I guess it's hard-coded for now? I really don't like the current format :/
Thanks for the tool

This is by far my favourite SC2 program to use
I just wish there was an option to rename all your replays to the format, because I have tons of replays that have crappy names that I don't want to go rename one by one,

He really does put a LOT of work into it. Like every week he emails me for a translation ;_; sometimes I wish he would slow down. But nonetheless its an awesome product.
