Terrans will continue to mass marauders because they're fast, long range, high damage, high hp units with stim. They fulfill pretty much every role in the Terran army besides AA. Concussive shells is just a bonus. No saying T is imba, just saying there's almost no reason not to mass marauders as T.
oh i agree, they were barely nerfed and it was a stupid change -- almost as stupid as thinking changing it from 100/100 to 50/50 was important
100/100 changed nothing important. because of immo build time suddenly TvP became a ton harder, but the real problem is not only that marauders are either better than or equal to every unit in the game, but also that the majority of the terran army is either straight up useless, redundant, or just plain too weak for what it's supposed to do. add on to the fact terran is the least pliable of all the races -- why go something other than marauders?

I'm so disappointed. No change to Forcefield Immortal change not strong enough for beeing such a hard counter, though it's a good step Protoss will still own Terran in later game stages Zerg chances are so unimportant.

Build Sensor Tower has been changed from W to N. Terran Infantry Weapons have been changed from W to E. Terran Vehicle Weapons have been changed from W to E. Weapon Refit has been changed from W to R.
These don't make any sense, What was wrong with them in the first place? Sensor towers hotkey is now on the complete wrong side of the keyboard for me now.

I think they left the shitty maps in the rotation because they still want more testing done on them. LT and Meta were probably removed from 2v2 because they are good maps and Blizzard feels they don't need further testing. By taking them out they get more focused testing on the new maps. Remember this is a beta. :p

Marauder's definitely don't need to be any more powerful...but this is a much more sane cost for the upgrade. NOW, Blizzard can go ahead feel free to nerf their hp/damage!
The other changes are fine. Every patch, people whine about how Blizzard isn't making all of the drastic "THIS WILL FIX THE GAME!" changes the forum-goers are all suggesting...but that's usually because the proposed changes would be totally disastrous. Small changes, I think, are the way to go in balancing the game.

hate the spell. it was useless and boring. i guess its alot better now, remmeber this is one of few spells that get higher dmg as u upgrade them. the 33% lower cooldown along with the 33% more dmg is probably gonna make this useful in some situations. but i still dont think infestors will use this in big battles seeing how the growth is AoE and neutral parasite such a beastly spell now with even more range
Btw, that's move speed nerf, not an attack cooldown buff. Their attack cooldown is already 0.8608, same as marines, and their move speed was 1.5

Doesn't seem like a bad patch. They aren't necessarily moving the marauder/immortal relationship the way I'd expect them too, but I don't see this as game breaking. And still, it's just the beta, so I expect to see a lot of screwed up patches as they tune the thing.
Fungal growth seems pretty powerful. No travel time on the cast seems like a big deal. Not sure if it'll change things too much, though, since marauders are still really really powerful. I don't know why they bother to give the infested terrans any movement at all, the way they kill their speed. They don't have enough duration to move around anywhere, anyway.
Happy to see new maps being added.

People have to stop assuming they've figured the whole game out, especially with how young it is; even the best players around (which honestly complain MUCH less than most random people) can't really be counted on to make massive changes, simply because their play isn't developed enough at this stage. Maybe some could argue about marauder/roach/immortal being 'boring' and whatnot, but I just think maybe some new strategies that don't revolve around them still need to pop up.
