I've won 75-80% of the games I've done with carriers, in plat. If you rush to get one out, that one carrier with your ground units should be able to crush a lot of stuff. Takes me around 8:30-9 mins to get 1 carrier out I believe. Once you get 1 or 2 out you have to be careful to not let them die, they are great dps, and with a cliff you can use one to tank dmg then pull it back.
And yes +1 atk for carriers is freakin amazing. I usually get it while I'm building my first carrier. Another thing I'd like to point out is that you don't need to win with carriers, you just need to do enough damage to stop them from killing you while you build up a larger army (after you build your first c and an expo). Sure some of my games would end with a bunch of carriers, but lots of times a player sees the first carrier and has an "o shit" moment (or in this case a "day9?" moment) and totally over prepares for a bunch of carriers.
Edit: I usually get mostly phoenix/zealot/sentry before carrier. Phoenix are great at helping picking off aa on the ground and in the air, and zealots with sentry can tank a lot of damage while your carriers kill everything. Really hard to focus fire on the carrier when a bunch zealots are hacking you to pieces.

Of course, the whole point of the exercise is to find a way to use fast carriers.
The biggest problem is getting to them without dying. Oh yeah, they're dangerous in large numbers, but the time and cost of getting to "large numbers" is incredible, and how do you survive in the mean time? There are probably going to be a few hundred replays sent in, so I'm sure somebody will come up with something good.
The most obvious idea is to modify a forge/cannon wall-in voidray build to make carriers instead of VRs. But I have a sillier idea I think is more appropriate (which I plan to start testing tonight).

Is there any way to make them easier for non-German speakers to buy one? Has anyone from the US been able to purchase one? Sorry if I'm showing my ignorance, I've never bought anything off of a foreign website before.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Can we start a Buy Day[9] new glasses fund? This has really been bothering me.

he said that hes getting them fixed friday

The first FundayMonday has now given me a new opening for PvZ: Going for fast lair and expansion after spawning pool instead of Queen, and get hydras right away. I still need to tweak it and work on it to get it more efficient, but it feels really strong. By the time Collosus can get out, you can already have a huge mass of hydras to do serious damage. And as long as you creep with overlords and get your queens to actively lay down tumors once you get them (I'm usually getting them once I begin building my Hydralisk Den) you can be mobile enough to deal with any agression the Toss can muster.
I love these new theme days Day[9], keep it up!

In the later game, your probe production shouldn't come to a complete stop but it should start to slow down unless you late double expand or something.
Once you're on your third base or maybe even fourth if your going for a heavy macro build you shouldn't really need to build any more probes as you can just transfer between bases. (disregarding mineral line harass)
Okay so lets say you're on one base and you want to expand, as you drop your natural expansion you should still be building probes on your main. So when the natural is finished, your main base should be over-saturated (20-25 probes), then take anywhere up to 50% (or more if your have tons of probes) to your natural which will now be close to full saturation.

I'm having problems downloading the episodes, I click the download button but it goes to a VOD stream.
I dunno what to do! wanted to watch episode 100 again but I cant as there isn't a pause button on the stream, and I can't download it.
