At the point where the silver toss attacked the defended Terran base what other options does he have? Sit there with his army to prevent an expand and expand himself and macro up? If you are just re-encoding videos you could always find volunteers to help with that Day. Sort of offload the computing time needed. ![]()

Imho he did the right thing moving his troops up there to attack, that said i think he chose a bad place to fight, the terran troops where all in a pretty nice arc, while the protoss was at/on the ramp bunched up. I might be wrong though, not that good of a player yet =)

I am a struggling Protoss player and so I was hoping you could cover PvT and PvZ, including strategies, build orders, ideal composition, etc. of Protoss. I'm particularly having difficulty dealing with MM w/medivacs and tanks. Pheonix? Collosi? High Templars? None of those really seem to work for this poor poor gold league player. Against Zerg I can't find a viable strategy that keeps up with Zerg's ability to early expand (on 15 or 16) and I end up falling behind in the economy. Thanks so much and keep up the great work!

PLEASE NOTE unfortunately, this video has a huge banner across the top telling me to upgrade to the pro version of the software and there was nothing i could do about it. I even tried to download like 5 or 6 other flv converters but they all had critical errors when converting, probably due to the big space in the middle of the daily. im not sure why, but basically this was the only converter that actually worked. my apologies, but the video is still totally watchable and understandable. if you wanna complain about it then this video isn't for you anyway, this isn't the imax theatre. the video is .avi format and is 420 mb (winrared at maximum compression), the size couldn't really be helped due to the fact that the video is about an hour long. just download it before you go to bed or something. anyway, enjoy! "A Marauder against an Armored unit doesn't quite deal as much damage as a Marine against any target." This doesn't seem accurate. Going by Liquipedia ( http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Unit_Statistics ): A Marine does 6/0.8608 = 7.0 DPS. A Marauder does 10/1.5 = 6.7 DPS, and 20/1.5 = 13.3 DPS against Armored. So two Marines for the same 100 minerals do slightly more DPS than a Marauder even against Armored, and maybe that's what you meant, but I thought it might be confusing as stated.

Typically when you compare units you either do food, or cost, as these are the two factors in SC.
