Hello,

I just bought a new monitor in order to play with dual screen. It's a HP 2211x.

The display is a bit fuzzy/blurry. It's especially noticeable with text.

My drivers are up to date, I am on Windows 7, the resolution is good (higher/recommanded one).

Any idea ? =(

Resolution of the new monitor is 1920 x 1080.

Yes. The monitor doesn't have HDMI.

Yes =( I think I have tried everything... I am going to take it back to the vendor and salvage the item.

It sounds like it is set to a non-native resolution (IE: Something less than 1920x1080) but it sounds like you have already checked that. Yeah I would just take it back.

I had the same and was very surprised about display quality when I used analog vga transport to 2nd tft. I think we really got used to the superb quality of todays tech. It really was so worse back in the days ?! Then I used dvi and it was as expected.

Definitely sounds like you are using a less than native resolution. You may have the same resolution on both displays, instead of having a different res for each one... I had that problem one time.
