I wouldn't have thought there'd be enough players to really bump people down 2 leagues, but as I said I've played and completely destroyed diamond players I've faced. Platinum players I've faced have been better, that's what makes me question the legitimacy of the ranks outside of GM currently. | ||

Sure they might play a little faster, but they are more prone to sticking to the builds used most often in GSL, they are easy to confuse. They do one specific build, and they do it quite well, but if you throw a wrench in the works they are just as bad as diamond on any other server. As far as HotS goes, I went 5-0 in placements last season of HotS, got plat. Then this season I played my 1 placement and won it, got placed in bronze. lol. There's definitely something off about the placement system right now  So you have good players spread all over in various leagues. So just because you are playing a silver player, it doesn't mean his MMR is necessarily silver level. | ||

BUT, who cares, it's beta, leagues count even less than in WOL. It will all be wiped, only your experience and skill you've gained will transfer to the release, just keep playing the game. | ||

It would be nice to win 29 straight games but only winning 21 (and they are probably stagnated wins at that) wont get you a promo consideration. Either way, its only the beta. Played some plat terran who claimed to be a master terran since wol beta but he played extremely poor. then I played some silver protoss who played at plat wol level I feel. there was a korean terran who was at silver and played like a master lol | ||
