EPTWe've been watching the Watch Tower change carefully on GSL. We think the change of removing the 2 Watch Towers is good for that map and are thinking of removing it on both Akilon Wastes and Akilon Flats.

We think Watch Towers are very effective at granting players positional play at specific parts of the map which is a good thing.
On this map specifically, because the map is such a good macro map, it probably doesn't need all 4 of the Watch Towers that overlook almost all of the center areas. Therefore, we agree in that the solution of removing the center 2 Watch Towers is a good change.

David Kim has taken to the b.net forums and talked about potentially removing the center towers out of the maps due to the amount map vision they offer. I think this would be a really good change since having all four towers there REALLY does let you see any attack coming. Your guys thoughts?
